Jane found what I did pretty entertaining while Robbie told me it was dangerous to act alone like that. That apart, the two of them quickly found the address we were looking for and sent it over.
It didn't take long for us to see the old factory and Leo quickly parked.
"We will make sure there's no one inside, don't get out of the car until we say it's safe.", Leo said before leaving the car
"So now I can be alone?", I crossed my arms. It makes sense that they go in first, though.
"Are you scared?", Camila asked, turning back to face me with an amused expression.
"Who's scared?! Just go already, we don't have the whole day.", Her answer was a cute chuckle as she left the car too.
Cute? As if! A few hours ago she didn't even look my way, now she's joking around?
"It's almost like we can see you sulking.", Jane said in my ear, bringing me back.
"Right?", A still amused Camila answered.
Robbie and Leo laughed a bit in the background.
"Screw you guys! Just go inside already!"
To say I'm not used to this kind of thing is not enough. Being made fun of and being on a group were never my things.
The team got more serious as they entered the building. The two back at the FBI building helped with the directions and a few minutes later Leo's voice was heard again.
"It's clear, help her get here Jane."
I got out of the car and started walking to the old building. "No need, I heard you the first time."
As I walked through the place, I noticed there was not much to see. Until I reunited with the two, that is.
"So this really is where they lived..."
We were all inside of a big room. There were two sleeping bags in one corner, a table with some papers and a laptop and pictures of me on the wall on another and a shelf on yet another one.
"The laptop has no password but there's nothing here except a code of sorts on this email they received." Leo stated.
"Why is this bookshelf here?", It has been bothering me since I entered this place.
"There's nothing behind it.", Leo pointed out.
"Exactly so why is it here? There are no other kinds of entertainment around, yet this is covered in dust.", I answered
"They weren't using the bookshelf.", Camila suggests
"Right. So that means...", I leave it open so that she can finish the thought.
"The code might have something to do with it.", She concludes and I smile.
Thinking back, the two guys were pretty tall, a bit taller than me, that thought made me look at the higher shelves were a book stood out.
"There's no dust in front of this one..." I grabbed the small book and tried looking behind it and inside but there was nothing.
"The numbers must mean something... Like... To form a message with the book?", Camila thought out loud
I approached tthe laptop to take a look at the code.
87 15 3
52 7 10
19 1 1
101 2 6
73 20 9It would look like a bunch of random numbers if I didn't have a book in hands.
"These are coordinates.", She speaks once again.
