Tuesday, 11:32 A.M., Washington D.C.

I stretched out on the couch, flipping through channels absentmindedly. Kate's house was quiet, weirdly so without Matty's usual playful noise.

Louis, my driver, was parked outside in case I decided to go somowhere. Though I didn't think much about it, I didn't see my bodyguards.

I considered getting up to make a snack when a soft noise caught my attention. Frowning, I muted the TV and listened.

There it was again—a faint creak, like someone  was carefully stepping on an old floorboard.

It was still too early for Matty and the nanny to be back. My heart started to race. Moving quietly, I grabbed my phone and crept toward the noise.

As I reached the hallway, I could see the front door was open. Two masked men were there. My blood ran cold.

"Well, you're not the nanny," I muttered under my breath, trying to keep my panic in check.

Without making noise I backed away from them, grabbing my phone before I entered the garage through the kitchen.

After being sure there was no one there and closing the door very quietly, I texted Louis.

Don't make noise but be ready to leave at any second.

Now I only had to get out of the garage and into my car, the garage door would make a lot of noise though.

Ok, It's now or never. 1... 2... Let's go!

As expected it did make a lot of noise but I didn't stop to look back, instead I only ran and got into the car.

"Go, go, go!", I screamed.

As the car started moving, I could see the two men running out of the house and into their own cars. I put the seatbelt on, safety first.

"Miss? Where should I go to?", Louis asked, panic in his voice.

"I'll call Kate, go to the FBI building!", I answered back, dialing Kate's number.

I was seated in the backseat, on the passenger's side, anxiously waiting for her to pick up. A sigh of relief leaving me when she did.

"Sup Kate, uh, were you by any chance expecting two masked men to enter your house today?"

"Hey- What?!-", I gave her a brief explanation, "Jane! Track this call right now!", She demanded.

"Uh? Oh, ok!", The woman seemed startled but right know I can't afford to care about that.

"Cam, you're on speaker, give us a few minutes. Leonard! Robert! Camila! Get your stuff and get out there, now!", She was giving orders but I was too busy trying not to die.

"There's a car behind us but I don't know where the other went.", I explained.

"Ok, don't worry, we'll get you guys out of there.", Kate reassured.

I could hear people walking and stuff moving around. I was feeling relieved while looking at my phone, now on speaker too so Louis could know help was coming.

Then, out of nowhere, another van came from the front, making me hit my head on the glass and drop my phone.

"What was that?! Cameron?!", Katherine asked.

I was dizzy and didn't know where the phone was.

"I got it! I'm sending her location live to Leo!", I heard the voice from before speak again

After looking around I grabbed my phone with my left hand, holding my head with the right one.

"Cameron?! Help is on the way! What the hell is happening?!"
