I had just finished my shower when I heard a knock on my door.
A white t-shirt and black shorts were the closest things so I put them on before I approached the door with my hair still wet. Opening it, a surprised Camila looked back at me.
Though her face showed nothing, I could see her ears turning red which made me raise an eyebrow. It wasn't uncommon for women, even men, to react to me that way, but she hadn't so far so why now?
She cleared her throat, "Just letting you know, I'll be living next door from now on.", She said quickly.
"Right, thanks for doing this. I know it's not ideal.", I answered with my right hand on my neck. I'm not great at showing gratitude. "Have you had dinner yet?", I then asked trying to change the subject
"Not yet, wanna get something?", She was making eye contact as she spoke, kinda making me nervous.
Why? No idea. I don't get nervous that easily.
"Yeah, I'm starved.", I spoke up after a second.
As I prepared to leave my room, moving my foot to the front, I felt her hand on my abdomen area, stopping me gently.
I gave her a confused look, tilting my head to the right.
After a small chuckle, she opened her mouth again, "You might want to dress something else.", She finally said.
My confusion continued as I backed off walking to the bathroom door.
Looking at myself on the mirror, my face instantly got red. Turns out you can see a lot through a white shirt if you don't properly dry yourself before wearing it.
I'm embarassed, I'm usually able to maintain my poker face.
"You should have said something sooner, pervert!", I accused, running to my suitcases to get a black hoodie.
"What was I supposed to say?! "Hey your tits are showing go get dressed?"?", She countered, her voice clearly enjoying this situation
"Uh, yes?!", I had now my hoodie on.
"I didn't want to embarrass you.", She argued
"Well, that clearly worked." I rolled my eyes as I walked back to the door of the room where she waited.
She chuckled again and I found myself smiling at the sight even if I should be annoyed right now.
"Do you want to order something or eat from the cafeteria?", She asked once we were on the way to the cafeteria.
Either way we would eat there.
"I'm fine with anything."
"Boring.", She answered, "I'm feeling pizza today."
"Pizza...", I considered for a few seconds, "Ok.", Pulling out my phone, I quickly opened the delivery app "What pizza?" I asked looking down at my phone.
"Pepperoni, duh."
"Basic", I said, gaining a light punch on my shoulder, "That was uncalled for."
"Garlic bread too.", She ignored me, I shook my head in disbelief but did what she told me.
After paying, I put my phone down and followed Camila to one of the tables.
"How much do I owe you?", She asked making me look at her weird
"You're not giving me any money. It's a pizza." I stated as if it was obvious.
She shook her head, "Not accepting that.", She insisted
