17th of July, 1867: The Alaskan Panhandle dispute is resolved, with the British Empire purchasing the Panhandle up to Yakutat Bay at the price of 2 million British Pounds, with American companies being allowed to use the area's sea routes with impunity.

10th of July to 15th of November, 1898: The Fashoda Incident escalated to the Fashoda Skirmish, 32 French soldiers were killed or wounded, while 25 British ones suffered the same fate.
