chapter sixteen

Draco had his bags ready to leave for Hogwarts the next day for a week. He looked at the way too spicy food. "it's just as hot as you." Marlene winked with teary eyes towards James's mother. She smiled back and picked up Marlene's hand. Sirius, Peter and Remus were also present in the Potter house, they seemed to sense it when Euphemia and Fleamont were present. "we have to tell you something." James spoke up. everyone looked interested at them. "me and Reg are expecting." He said. everyone but Draco stared in shock at them. "like actually?" Harry asked. "yes, Harry. we've decided that we wanted another child, or at least I wanted another child and Reg wanted a child too." James said. Harry smiled. "that's great right?" Harry asked and looked at his grandmother who looked quite white. "what's wrong?" James asked. "well I was kinda expecting Harry to be in that phase now, not you." she said. Harry looked down at the table. "I think it's great!" Remus said. "me too, Teddy will love your kid." Sirius said. "yeah, I can't wait to be uncle again!" Peter exclaimed. "I can't wait to be called auntie Marlene again since Harry grew out of that." she said. Harry smiled innocently. "aapakee nani kabhee bhee aisa kuchh sveekaar nahin karengee!" James looked at his mother. "what's she saying?" Regulus. "mom, I love you a lot. But it's my decision, like it's my decision to be pan and like it's Harry's decision to be gay and this has nothing to do with my grandmother." James said. Regulus put his hand on James's shoulder. "well I should go." Euphemia stood up. "good night mom." James said. she nodded and walked away.

"anything from the trolley dears?" the trolley witch looked into the compartment. "no thanks." Harry closed the door. "this is incredible." Draco smiled looking around. Harry chuckled and looked at Draco's amazed look. "wait until you see Hogwarts." Harry said. Draco chuckled. "oh there's one thing I'm going to ask you before we arrive." Harry said. Draco nodded. "so my dad and his friends made a map of everything in Hogwarts and it also shows everyone where they are, except for the room of requirements, which I will show you later. you sadly won't be able to use the map, so please if you ever loose me just stay where you are and don't go into that room." Harry said. Draco nodded. "it's only for a week now, but also next year." Harry said. Draco smiled. hours passed and Harry and Draco talked about everything and Draco also slept a good few hours. When they arrived they sat in the carriages. "what are those ugly kind of horses with wings?" Draco asked. "Thestrals, but you can only see them if you looked death in the eye." Harry looked at Draco. when they landed they went inside and were greeted by the headmistress. "Minerva." Harry smiled and kissed her cheek. "it's so long since I've seen you. I missed you a lot Harry." she smiled. Harry chuckled. "Draco this is Minerva, the headmistress." Harry said. "nice to meet you." Draco smiled. "so you're a Black?" she asked. "he's nothing like Sirius and Regulus." Harry reassured her. She smiled. "well you guys are right on time for the first class." She smiled. Draco nodded. "but first you have to change." She said. "uniform?" Draco asked. "no masculine clothes, wizards aren't as modern as the rest of the world and there is a lot of transphobia in here." she said. Draco nodded and walked with her. Towards the first class.

After a week they returned home and Draco ran upstairs. "what's up with him?" Regulus asked. "he had to wear jeans the entire week." Harry replied. Regulus chuckled. "how's my little sibling?" Harry asked. "they're good." He said and put his hands on his belly. "how long already?" Harry asked. "four months." Regulus replied. Harry smiled and Draco came back down with some joggers from Harry and a sweater. Marlene walked down too. "hello." she hugged Draco. "hi." Draco smiled. "so how was it?" she asked. "it was fun." Draco nodded. She smiled and looked over at Harry. "I'm kidnapping your boyfriend for a few hours if you don't mind." She said. Harry smiled. "where are you going with him?" Harry asked. "the mall." She said. Harry nodded and handed his wallet to Draco. "have fun love." He said. "I have my own money you know." Draco said. "well I'd like to treat my boyfriend for once." Harry said. Draco smiled and walked away with Marlene.
