chapter nineteen

"oh Harry, where do those people come from?" Regulus asked. "long story short they're Draco's friends who called for help at 1 am." Harry said. "oh that's alright, what are their names." James smiled and looked at the three. "Pansy Parkinson." Pansy smiled. "Theodore Nott." Theo said. "Blaise Zabini." He said. "these are your students again." James said. "yeah I know, they're Draco's friends." Harry said. Draco chuckled. "let's head to school." He said and picked up Harry's hand. "wait Harry a word?" Regulus asked. the rest walked out. "Harry you told Draco?" James asked. he smiled. "he was really happy about it." Harry said. "oh that's amazing, did you tell him about the dangers?" Regulus asked. "yes, and he understands." Harry said. "how about you quit teaching until you're in your next semester?" Harry thought about it for a second. "it's really dangerous and the stress might cause your babies to die." Harry smiled. "I'll talk to the principal today." Harry said. "good." Regulus walked over to Harry and hugged him. "can I feel?" Regulus asked. Harry smiled and let him. "oeh I can feel them a little bit." Regulus smiled. "no you don't." Harry said. "no I was indeed joking, Sirius texted this morning to come straight to his house after school tell Draco." Regulus said. "I'd rather come gay, but okay see you tonight."

"hey brother why did you want us to come over?" Regulus asked. "where are Draco and Harry?" Sirius asked in excitement. "here." Draco came up behind James. "we're gonna marry!" Sirius said. "oh you guys too?" Harry asked. "of course, we have a baby." Sirius said. "I wouldn't call Teddy a baby." Regulus said. "he'll always be our baby." Remus said. Harry chuckled. "come in your mom is already here." Sirius said. "what?" James asked. "and of course my parents and Remus's." Sirius said. "wait Walburga is here?" Draco asked. "yeah, we're engaged, that happens you invite your family and close friends." Remus said. "I'm not going in there looking like this." Draco said. "you're in your uniform, what could go wrong?" Sirius asked. "I'm a male remember?" Draco asked. "we might had to warn you about that." Sirius said. Remus gripped Draco's hand. "no worries, they never accepted me, even after giving them a grandchild and even after everything, I'm a werewolf. Nobody accepts me. Except those fuckers here." Remus said. Draco smiled. "let's head inside." Harry said and they walked inside.

"Reg babe, come here." James said. "I'm doing chores." Regulus said. "you're pregnant, you shouldn't be doing this." James said. "who else is gonna do them?" he asked. "someone else, but I want you to rest." James said. Regulus sat on his lap. "you're eight months the doctor said to rest." James said. "I know, but if I'm not doing anything. I feel so useless." Regulus said. "but you're carrying a child." James said. Regulus looked up at him. "besides you're not useless when you're resting." James said.  he sighed and kissed James's lips. The doorbell rang. "huh weird, did you invite someone?" James asked. "nope." Regulus said. James stood up and walked towards the door and found there his ex-wife. the red haired woman who had left him short after the birth of his son. "what are you doing here?" James asked. "I just wanted to see my son." She said. "he's at work." James tried to close the door. "I don't bother waiting." She said. "we do." James said. "who's we?" she asked. "you really think I never dated after you?" James asked. "didn't think someone would be able to love you." she replied. James took a deep breath and saw Harry turning up at the front. "well there he is, you've seen him now go." James said. Harry and Draco left the car and walked up the steps and Harry looked at Lily. "hi Harry." she said. "who is she?" Harry asked. "she's your mother." James replied. Harry shifted uncomfortably. "hello." she said. "I'm going inside." Draco said and kissed Harry cheek. "Harry I just wanted to see you." she said. "why?" Harry asked. "because I'm your mother." She said. "no you're not, you left dad when I was a baby, I didn't even know who you were only a few seconds ago." Harry said. "I want to hold you again Harry." she said. Harry shook his head. "no thanks." Harry said. she frowned. "are you pregnant?" she asked. Harry nodded. "yes, I'm expecting twins." Harry said. her jaw dropped. "how dare you, you're barely twenty!" she said. "I'm as old as you when you got me!" Harry yelled at her. "Is that ugly little shit your boyfriend?" She asked. "my boyfriend isn't ugly nor is he a little shit." Harry said. "Harry don't wind yourself up too much, let's go inside." James said. "you don't have the right to come here and ask for me, you might have carried me around for nine months, but you weren't there when I first laughed, you weren't there when I said my first word, when I set my first steps. When I went to preschool when I went to kindergarten when I went to middle school. You weren't there when I got my Hogwarts letter and my first wand. You weren't there I went to Hogwarts and graduated. You weren't there when I got my first kiss, you weren't there when I got engaged. You weren't there when went to live alone. You weren't there to wish me luck at my first day of work and you weren't there when I had to cope with the death of my fiancé. You weren't there when I blamed myself for a death. And you weren't there when I recovered. You weren't there when I got pregnant. And you will never be there at all for me. You know why? Because dad is always there for me." Harry said. she looked at him. "I've never in my life seen such disrespect from son towards mother!" she yelled at Harry.

James saw Harry's face changing in a way he wasn't sure if he was gonna hit Lily or something was terribly wrong. "Harry you okay?" James asked. "no, I need to sit down for a moment." Harry said and walked inside. "see what you did to him you fucking bitch." James said. she glared. "now fuck off." James said. "I want to know what's wrong with my son!" she said. James groaned. "I don't think he really is in need of someone like you at the moment." James walked inside closing the door and walked over to the living room to find Regulus looked up at him. "where's Harry?" he asked. "he went to the bathroom as soon as he came in, who was at the front door?" Regulus asked. "fucking Lily." James said. "you okay?" he playing with his sleeves. "I am, the question is, is Harry? he looked in pain when he came in." James said. Harry came rushing downstairs. "dad." He said and the tears stood in his eyes. "baby Prongs what's wrong?" James asked. "I went to the bathroom and there was blood." He replied. James looked at Regulus. "in not any situation is that a good sign. Take him to St. Mungo's I'll get Draco." Regulus said. "no I don't want Draco to know yet, if nothing's wrong I won't tell him." Harry said. "yes you are, Draco has the right to know." James said. "I don't want him to worry." Harry replied. "we're gonna need to have Draco with us." Regulus said. that time Draco come downstairs. "oh hi, what's wrong?" he asked. "we need to go to the hospital, but it's nothing to worry about just some health checks." Harry said. Draco nodded. "let's go then." Draco smiled. "yeah, come on." James walked towards the floo and they flooed to St. Mungo's. "you wait here, in the waiting room with Reg alright. Muggles aren't supposed to see wizard healing." Harry said. "okay, I'll wait here. tell me if there is something wrong." Draco said and kissed Harry's cheek.

"Mr. Potter?" thedoctor walked in. Harry looked up. "what happened?" he asked. "I came home fromwork and my biological mother stood at the front door. and we started arguingand suddenly there was an immense pain in my belly. So I wanted to sit down.and felt something in my underwear and I went to the toilet and there wasblood." Harry said. "okay, that's not good." He said and put on some gloves."lift up your shirt." Harry obeyed and the doctor did his thing. Harry glancedat the ceiling here the ultrasound appeared. "odd." He muttered. "what's odd?"Harry asked. "it's bad." He said. "how bad?" James asked. "really bad, are youthe other father?" he asked. "no I'm his dad." James said. "okay, can youplease if available, get the other father." The doctor said. "yeah sure." Jameswalked out. "how bad is really bad?" Harry asked. "I'm gonna wait to tell you."he said. Harry nodded. "when was your last ultrasound?" he asked. "a month agoprobably." Harry said. he nodded and Draco entered. "what wrong?" he asked. "takea seat, please." Draco sat on the chair. "I'm sorry, to inform that I found theuterus not holding living embryos anymore." Draco looked at the doctor. "youwhat?" Draco asked. "they died, with no saving possible, I'm sorry." He said.Draco nodded. "I'll leave you alone for now, my condolences." The doctor saidand walked out of the room. "what happened?" Draco asked. "sorry, I didn't wantyou to panic." Harry said and wrapped his arms around Draco. "no worries, I'mcalm. I... god. this is fucked up." tears rolled from Draco's cheeks and Harrysoothed him.
