"Flashback to my mistakes, my rebounds, my earthquakes. Even in my worst lies, you saw the truth in me." - Dress, Taylor Swift

Everyone thinks that they know us, but they know nothing about this silence and patience. All this pining and anticipation I have been feeling for the last few days. It seems like I have been loving Ebony since long before the events of the past week.

Our secret moments in a crowded room make me strongly believe they don't know about me and Ebony. They don't know about my pining and desperately waiting. They don't know my hands are shaking from holding back from her.

Until I couldn't hold back from her. Until I bought this sexy black dress and wore it to the ball. Until I made a dramatically late entrance to catch Ebony's attention. Until I just kissed her in the middle of that ballroom. Until I realized everyone - literally everyone present in the ballroom - was looking at us.

Until I broke our kiss, grabbed her hand and whispered "run," before I stormed off to the doors, pulling Ebony with me. My cheeks a burning red from embarrassment, we left the ballroom running. Leaving everyone behind with faces full of confusement.

"What are you doing?" Ebony asked after the ballroom doors were closed behind us. Her hand was still in mine.

"Could you lead me to your room?" I asked her, my breathing irregular from the kissing and the running.

"Why?" Ebony asked.

"Do you love me?" I returned a question.

Ebony paused for a second. "Yes," she answered.

"Then lead me to your room," I said. "Or do you want to go back into that ballroom?"

She shook her head and without letting go of my hand, started walking toward the stairs. Silently, she led me the way to her room. She asked a passing servant to bring a generous amount of wine to her room, as fast as possible.

In Ebony's room, I quickly sat down on her couch and she joined me. The room was so big, but she chose to sit so close to me.

"Ebony," I started. "I love you, and I have loved you for some time. I only just realized it," I admitted to her.

"I also love you," Ebony said. "And I have for months, if not longer. However, it's an impossible love."

"I know."

"My parents strictly forbade me to date girls. I can't acknowledge the feelings I have for you."

"This love, it's inescapable. I'm not even going to try," I said. "But if I get burned," I added, "at least we were electrified."

This time, she kissed me. As if she meant to say she would take on this love with me, even if the world would try to stop us. Quickly, my hands were in her hair and she had me laying down on the couch.

"I don't want you as a best friend," she told me.

I was breathing heavily already. "I only bought this dress so you could take it off," I admitted.

But at that point, the servant had arrived with Ebony's large order of wine. She quickly got up and walked to the door. There, she put the bottles of wine inside and sent the servant away. We would be left alone the whole night.

"I want to have your body, Arora," she said while she popped open the first bottle of wine. "But I need some more to keep my head from seeing the consequences."

"I told you," I said while I took over the bottle of wine from her and took a big sip. Ebony got a second bottle for herself. "I only bought this dress so you could take it off."

"And I want to take it off, Arora Aurum," Ebony said while she started to strip herself.

By the time our second kiss completely hit and I emptied the first bottle of wine, my memories began to overlap eachother. The next thing I know there's an indentation in the shape of me on the couch and Ebony made her mark on me like a golden tattoo.

"Say my name," I whispered to her. "And everything just stops."

"Arora Aurum," she whispered to me in that sensual tone that got all my senses tingling.

"Take it off," I whispered to her, meaning my dress. Ebony kept staring at me. "Please," I added.

She pushed me back against the floor, Ebony on top of me, as she pressed her lips against mine. While intertwined in the kiss, she began to undo my dress. When that didn't work - because I was laying on the closure - she just ripped the fabric off my body.

She immediately laid her hands on the bare skin of my breasts as I rolled so she was laying under me, leaving the ruined dress behind on the floor. There I ripped Ebony's dress off her body, while still keeping contact with her lips. The fabric was strong and didn't rip easily, so Ebony started to help me.

By the time our lips parted again, Ebony and I were both naked. Ebony grabbed another bottle of wine and began pouring the liquid in my mouth. I don't know if we were still on the living room floor or if we moved to another room.

The next thing I know, I'm spilling wine in the bathtub. She kisses my face and we're both drunk. The sweet liquid feels weird around my legs. I wondered how much of the tub was filled with wine and how much with water as I poured more alcohol in Ebony's mouth. Our legs intertwined, hair wet and minds fogged because of the alcohol.

"Carve your name into my bedpost," Ebony whispered in my ear while breathing heavily. Now, we're a little more dry and in her bed. "Because I don't want you like a best friend."

"Please," I breathed, my voice rasping. "Say my name."

"No, Arora Aurum," Ebony whispered. "Say my name and everything just stops, I don't want you like a best friend."

"I want to be your lover, Ebony Keeling."

"Everyone thinks that they know us," Ebony said. "But they know nothing about how my hands are shaking from holding back from you. I'm sick of holding back from you."

"I know," I whispered. "I know."

We were drunk, so drunk, so high on love. I honestly didn't care if anyone walked up on us, if only I got to be with Ebony. It was completely dark outside, I had no idea how late it was. Or how early. And I didn't even want to know, I only wanted to know Ebony and the things her body could do. The things I dreamed about the past nights.

"I dreamed about this, Arora," Ebony said while a tear escaped from her eye. "I already dreamed about doing those things with you."

"And, do I live up to your dreams?"

"Yes, you do."

She laid her body down on mine and I embraced her in a hug. Our naked and slightly wet bodies on each other. Eyes closed, breathing in each other's ears.

"I have a flashback from when you met me," she whispered. "Even in my worst times, you would see the best in me."

I kissed her cheek. "I didn't know back then, but I woke up just in time, and now I wake up by your side. You're my one and only, my lifeline."

"You indeed woke up just in time."

"I would do everything to repeat this night with you. Everything."

Ebony smirked at me. "Let's make this night unforgettable, don't you think?"

"Yes, please."

Ebony grabbed another bottle of wine - I had no idea how many we had already consumed - and popped it open to pour the liquor in her own mouth and mine.

"My hands are shaking," Ebony said before she again went in for a kiss. And by the time the alcohol hit again, I didn't remember anything we did. The only thing I knew was that it most surely would never be repeated.
