"There will be no explanation, just reputation" - Taylor Swift
Oh. My. God. That you're reading this means that I officially finished No Explanations. This is the first story I (as a non-native English speaker) have written in English. I just finished a complete novella, 24 thousand words, in English and I still can't believe it.
Finishing this novella also means that I finished ONC 2024. This has been an amazing rollercoaster of a contest in which I attempted to write three full novella's in three months, and succeeded. It has been amazing, guys!
Firstly, I want to thank everyone that told me I could do it. That I could write in English or that I could finish ONC 2024. I indeed did it guys!
Then I want to thank my parents, mostly because they won't let me hear the end of it if Taylor Swift is named before them.
Then I want to thank Taylor Swift, who probably will never read this. Nonetheless, she is the sole inspiration behind this novella. So thank you Taylor, for writing Reputation so I could write this. And thank you for writing Midnights, so I got acquainted with your music. The honor of the existence of this book lies mostly with you.
Thank you Emma, for always writing with me. We should keep doing that.
And thank you to you, the reader of this story. I hope you loved reading this, loved Arora and Ebony as much as I did. If you're a Swiftie, I hope you loved all the references throughout the book. I'm sure you didn't even catch all of them.
