C2. Walk Of Shame.

As Nex walked along the sidewalk, he realized he could feel the tail forming again, he ducked quickly into the closest ally there was near him, and he let the animal take over him. As he trotted out of the ally, a person stepped on his tail, hissed in anger as he clawed the human, and then jumped onto the street, where a car was speeding at him, his fur stood up as his eyes widened.

¨Crap!¨ He whimpered.

He jumped out of reach just in time to see the car pass. As they pointed, the boys stuck their heads out the window and laughed. Nex hissed, as he looked around the unfamiliar place. Should he figure out how to get home? He was looking for his clan now. Did he want to return? Just then he stumbled into a tree and looked around. He shrieked in excitement as he saw the forest. Two eyes narrowed at him as he looked over. Confused he went to follow the eyes.

¨Hello?" Nex asked confused.

No response. But Nex knew a lot about cats and could tell the unknown cat wanted to pounce and attack him at any moment. Nex turned and ran as fast as his paws would let him, and scurried up a tree, as a brown-Black Tom tabby cat chased him up. A scar could be seen traced down the side of the cat's face, and he shrieked.

¨What are you doing in Flame clan?¨ His voice grumbled.

¨I was looking for a clan? Called Flame Clan? You're clan I guess?¨ He replied horrified.

¨A new apprentice? Do you even have a guide? How old even are you?¨ He asked.

¨My name is Nex. I have no guide, and I am not an apprentice, I am 14.¨ Nex answered.

¨Mhm. Haven't met the Leader yet have you? The clan is a little ways from here. I can be your guide if he lets me. Even though a few weeks prior I am moving clans. I am sure I can teach you well while I am here.¨ The unknown cat smiled.

¨Well uh, I am what you call a kitty pet.¨ Nex said, somewhat backing away, onto a branch.

The cat's eyes grew. He stepped back a bit before deciding.

¨The Leader can't necessarily get mad at me if he doesn't know, can he?¨ The cat smiled.

¨You're just a trader, and horrible clan member then. What if someone sees and reports you? You'll be thrown out of all clans.¨ Nex asked.

¨I know? But you act like any clan members will notice. Trust me, they won't.¨ He chuckled.

¨Follow me.¨ He jumped off the branch, and landed steadily on the ground, he trotted into the bushes as Nex followed far behind him. Nex didn't know whether to trust him or leave now, he didn't wanna get himself into any sort of trouble that could cause clans to go to war, or make one another hate each other, and not let other clan members change clans.

They trotted for what seemed like hours, and Nex was very tired now, the cat seemed to be fully awake, and ready to run around for hours till he passed the hell out.

¨Whats your name?¨ Nex asked.

The cat stopped and smiled before saying ¨Scortchclaw.¨ Turned, and trotted into this tunnel that led to a huge circular hole. Gathered with cats everywhere.

Scortchclaw trotted over to the gathered cats, most were small and seemed to be talking about apprenticeship, some were over in another den sleeping, looked elderly-like, and to the left seemed to be attacked warriors in the Medicine den. Then this angry, looking Calico cat, walked out of a den, under a huge rock, around the rock were cats, herbs, trees, bushes, and tons of tunnels leading to different places. Nex could tell they worked hard to make a remake of the novel ¨Worrier Cats.¨ Scortchclaw trotted toward the Leader, bowing down before sitting with him. Nex sat, wrapping his tail around his legs. The leader looked over at him with surprise.
