Not even twelve hours after their first strike, the group of girls were sat back in Melanie's office with Sadie Bloom. It felt like deja vu to Evie, seeing Melanie's angry expression as she prepared herself for the lecture. Harper had arrived too, which surprised the girls after her vanishing last night, but the redhead seemed unbothered and had no recollection of any events that had occurred.

Evie frowned, "And why would we write a nursery rhyme on Sadie's door?"

"Sadie informed me she heard your voices outside her Cabin." Melanie explained, and the girl beside her nodded as she wiped the tears from her face. Melanie scooted her chair out from underneath her desk, retrieving a familiar sleeping bag from beneath her desk. She asked, "Does this look familiar to any of you?"

"No." All the girls replied in unison.

"Well, a few Campers came across a little campsite in the forest this morning." Melanie continued, "Girls, telling the truth will save you a lot less trouble."

"Even if we did camp in the forest, which we didn't, I'm pretty sure I recall you saying that we needed to enjoy our time here." Jenna explained frustratedly, "And we can't do that, if we're cleaning literal shit."

"It's a fair chore scheme!" Sadie exclaimed, "Every Cabin has their own chores per week. That's how it's always worked. I've been going here every summer since I was ten. It's a good way of learning how to do chores, with your friends—"

"It's a good way to loose friends." Harper scoffed, as she slouched further into her chair, folding her arms across her chest.

Sadie frowned, "Why are you so mean?"

"Why did you blame us for graffitiing your Cabin?" Evie retorted, furrowing her eyebrows.

"That's enough. All of you." Melanie snapped, "Starting from now, I don't want to hear a single peep out of any of you about this. Is that clear?"

"So, they're just going to get away with it?" Sadie frowned in shock, "Melanie, they're clearly bullying—"

Melanie held her hand up to silence the girl, "I'm sorry, Sadie. I will look more into the situation and come to the bottom of it. But for now, it's too soon to tell... the girls said they didn't do it. So, until I get further information, I'll have to believe them."

Sadie stood up in frustration, storming out of the office and slamming the door behind her. The rest of the girls got up, before attempting to make their way out of the office. Melanie cleared her throat, "Jenna? Can I have a word?"
