Kai had been sitting in his room since he had gotten home. He was Lloyd friend, he should've been there even if he wasn't supposed to. "Kai? Are you alright?"
Kai quickly scuffled out of bed and made it. He then swiftly cleaned his room and shoved everything in a closet. Nya would kill him if he didn't make his bed or clean his room.
"Kai? I'm coming in there."
She opened the door he sat on his bed bed and got
on his phone, trying to look like he had been resting for awhile.
"Wow. You cleaned. Wait...why are you sweating?"
"It's hot in here," Kai replied simply. Even though you would never expect it, Kai was very good at lying. Just not around Nya. Nya could see right through him as if he was a screen door, easily seeing past through his lies and into the truth. "Uh huh. Anyway, what's up? You have been in your room all day."
Kai bit his lip as if he was holding on for dear life. He slowly began to feel the metallic taste of blood. "I'm fine."
Again, a hopeless lie. Kai knew he was being a fool for trying to lie to his sister. He knew it. In fact, he was proud of it. Usually, you aren't proud of something like this. But Kai? He loved his sister. And even though that doesn't make much sense, he was happy that Nya could see through him. It was like she was a physic.

"it's about Lloyd, isn't it? What happened today with everything?"

"Yeah. It's just...If I was there he would be fine."

"He is fine Kai! Chen didn't hurt him that much."

"Yes, but I am supposed to protect him! He might think that I don't care about him anymore and that I hate him...just like everyone else. I don't want him thinking that, Nya."

"Kai..." Nya said sitting next to him. "Lloyd knows you care about him. He knows that you protect him. And you're his best friend, I don't think Lloyd would believe you hurt him.

Lloyd and Misako waited at the kitchen table, hoping that Wu would arrive before Chen woke up. Since that would be a very big problem. Lloyd couldn't take his eyes off Chen, he was so afraid that he would stand up again and try to kill his mother. A knock at the door was heard and Misako swiftly opened the door to reveal Lloyd's uncle. Wu said nothing, and simply guided his eyes from Misako, to the frying pan to Chen who was lying unconscious on the couch. Stroking his beard, he walked over to the kitchen counter and opened the drawer to reveal an assortment of pots and pans. Wu looked passed all of them and grabbed an old kettle, one that Wu gifted to Misako as a birthday present years ago. It was a kettle given to Wu by his father, a lovely kettle with a dragon on one side, and a demon like thing on the other. "It's called an oni," Wu once said to 5-year-old Lloyd. "The very embodiments of destruction."

"You got yourselves in quite the predicament," Wu finally spoke, begging to boil the hot water by putting the kettle on the stove. He then grabbed to cups, and put them on the counter beside the stove. "I'm sorry this has happened, Nephew. Misako, are you alright?"

"I'm fine," Misako replied. "Really, I am. It's just scared me. That's all."
"Mom, be honest," Lloyd mumbled so nobody could hear.
The kettle then made a loud train like noise and Wu took the kettle of the stove and poured the boiling water into two cups. He labeled one with an F, and the other with a T, and carefully made sure he put the teabags in the correct cups. After stirring a little, the tea was ready and Wu gifted the one with an F to Lloyd. "Give this to Chen now, through his mouth," Wu instructed. "But do not spill a drop, otherwise the tea will not be successful in its plan."
Lloyd nodded and headed over to Chen, slipping the tea into his mouth, being very carful not to spill.
He wanted Chen to forget...he needed Chen to forget. For him and his mother's sake. Chen would tell everyone what had happened, make everyone believe his is a monster, besides Kai, maybe. He would still be friends with Lloyd, right? He cared for Lloyd, right? He would never betray him...he hoped. And his mother...Misako could lose everything. Her job, her life savings, and maybe even her son. They were barely getting by. Being the wife to Garamdon, wages were not good for her. Nobody would pay her enough, and only hired her because they couldn't deny her skills. All these thoughts; Lloyd began to cry softly as he put the cup back on the counter and sat down at the kitchen table, putting his face in his hands. "Lloyd? Are you alright?" Wu asked. "NO!" Lloyd shouted, finally losing it. He had enough, he needed to l egg his anger out. He stood up from his seat and yelled, "This is all my fault!!! If only I hadn't been born, then you guys wouldn't be in danger. Do you know what it's like? Being Garmdon's son??? Don't even say you do. You're his brother and you're his wife...but I'm his son!!" Lloyd was tearing up now, beginning to streak down his cheeks. "I get beat up, get threatening notes that they will kill my mom! What's worse...I put my friends in danger!! Do you even know what that is like? Going through all of that?!?" Wu was staring in shock at him. So was Misako. Lloyd hadn't even noticed the dark energy in his hand, the purple flames that had manifested from himself. His hands had turned into dark black scales and claws that took over his fingertips.
"Oh my FSM...it's happening," Misako gasped.
"What's happening?!" Lloyd asked terrified.
"Your transformation."
"My what?"
