Misako sighed and then turned to Wu. She knew it was time to tell him, no matter what. "As you know, your father Garmadon doesn't look...the same as everyone else. And you being his son, inherited those genes. You wont look identical to him, you will just look...a little different. I think you will only get one trait of an oni."
Lloyd looked like he was star struck. "So I'm part oni?"
"Yes. And your part dragon, and part human."
Realization flooded into his brain. It all made sense now. With Mistake saying something humans will not understand.
In a worry tone even though Misako just told him he had to ask. "What's going too happen to me?"
Misako sighed as she stroked her gray- blonde hair. She seemed to tried for this, and wanted to rest.
"I don't know. Like I said, it's likely you will only get one trait. It might be your eyes, your horns, or something else. In all honesty, I know nothing of this. Not as well as your uncle or father."
She looked over at Wu.
"Maybe you should explain, Wu."
Wu sighed. "I likely should. You see, Lloyd, your grandfather, the First Spinjizu Master, was born of Oni and Dragon, then marrying my mother, an I know woman I never really knew, (for the sake of future plans) and had me and your father. Making we have the genes. I didn't expect you to have oni genes until Garmadon got bitten. Since it would bring the oni out of Garmadon and make it more likely you would inherit more oni genes. It's hard to explain, Lloyd."
Lloyd looked in great confusion. "So...when can I expect for the effects to show?"
Wu sighed. "That's the problem. We done know. Only your father would really know."
"Oh by the FSM..."
