Elijah had his briefcase as he went to the stairs of his family mansion, and put the key in the door and opened the door and then closed it from behind. Elijah took off his coat and hung it on the rack and walked with his briefcase that he picked back up and before as he was walking to  a room to sit himself down he didn't even have to guess who was in his chair, already sitting

"Hello, Dear Brother, how was your vacation." Elijah said to his brother staring at him as he was sitting relaxed with a wine glass between his fingers and hands.

"Quite extraordinary, really, visiting Paris, and its beauty at night, Cathédrale Notre-Dame,  Palace of Versailles. I saw so many wondrous sites, Elijah, not to mention the expensive shops and their women."


Elijah still held his suitcase, as he watched his brother go on about his expensive travels and his expensive tastes and spending, not to mention his killing sprees and appetites.


"I'm glad Niklaus, really, I am brother."


"Are you? Or do you have wished, that I had stayed longer Elijah?"


"You know, that's not true."


"Oh?" Klaus asked his brother raising his eyebrows up and smiling in the chair was was leaning back in like a prince. 


"What have you been doing while I have been away from Mystic Falls? And what is with that Briefcase, Elijah? And you smell like you have been surrounded by many different human beings, not to mention vampires. I'd say, you have been mighty busy Elijah."
