Elijah went to his office and closed the door, he decided that he would stay in his office. He wanted to get in touch with Josephines as he was worried about her throughout the day with his other teachings. Elijah would spend the day serious and hold a grudge against everyone, every student and teacher, and staff members at the school. When it did come time Elijah decided to phone Josephine's house, but he called the emergency number in which she had listed her mother. Elijah sat in his office with the blinds closed and his hand the corded phone in his office. He rolled and cuffed his sleeves as he leaned back moving the phone to his ear and positioning it as he outstretched his arm and hand looking at his watch on his wrist to see the time he was calling making sure it wasn't too late, but regardless, he had to watch out and thought it the perfect opportunity to reach her mother so that he could see how Josephine was doing and to have a conversation with her parent to get to know her and get well acquainted and discuss Josephine's work ethics and anything else he could get out of her mother to tell him about her daughter, anything he wanted her to tell him.

Elijah started calling as he relaxed still leaning back he had taken off his suit and just had his white blouse on, with a few buttons unbuttoned as was looking forward to the call.

Janice was in the kitchen, cooking as the phone rang, she immediately went to it and she hurried to answer it wiping her hand on a towel.

"Hello."

"Yes, hello and Good Evening, apologizes for calling so late Janice."

Janice paused

"May, I ask who is speaking and who this might be?"

"Yes, forgive me, "My name is Elijah Mikealson, I am the newly appointed teacher at Mystic Falls High School, replacing Mrs. Waters. I am Josephine's new teacher."

"Oh!, Hello!"

Elijah smiled to himself on the line, at Josephine's mother's surprise

"Elijah, yes, thank you for calling. How may I help you?"

"I hope you don't mind my calling."

"No, of course not."

"I am reaching out Janice, mainly because, I am a professor, who is simply concerned about his student, your daughter, Josephine."

Janice held the phone listening to Elijah now more than ever wanting to know what he was going to say, and concerned now.

"Yes." Janice said

"It has come to my discretion that she has been as I know, and have seen, unwell, and it concerns me because Josephine has been missing a few of my classes, and I know that her absence is completely understandable and more so excused, she has nothing to fear, and you either Janice, about her missing class, though, it is leading her to fall from focus and having to miss a few of the work I have provided in class."

"Is she falling behind Professor Mikealson?"

"No, which is good and excellent. However, it's just a few assignments, that seem to have her to start falling which is why, I want to help Josephine get back up to speed. She is very intelligent and the hardest worker in my class, as all my students work hard, but Josephine is..."

Janice listened

"She is unique."

"Unique?"

"Yes."

"How do you mean Mr. Mikealson?" Janice asked Elijah now to the point where she was trying to judge him on his words about her daughter and what he was trying to say.

Elijah could sense it over the phone, her mood change and the little tensity

No matter. Elijah thought. It would seem I might have to compel you dearest mother goose.

"That she excels in all that she does, whether it be her assignments, in my class she is phenomenal, she doesn't hesitate to lead class discussions or to participate with group projects, what I am trying to say Janice is Josephine has potential, so much that I do not want her to fall behind, because then she will have a hard time catching up and having to do assignments together with exams and tests."

"What does Josephine need to do professor Mikealson to not fall behind and to pass the class?"

Elijah smiled to himself, that is exactly what he wanted for Janice to ask him what could be done, what must be done. He then started to compel Jancie over the phone and focus

"Janice, listen to my voice, as I tell you here and now, that your daughter Josephine will need help over the remainder of the semester, she will need my assistance 1 on 1 with me to meet to help her to get back on track and her feet. I would most be so humble if you could invite me over from time and time just the two of us, to further talk about Josephine, so that I may be familiar with her and to get to know her better. You may even invite me over for tea. I would be most grateful."

"Would that be alright Janice?"

"Yes, Elijah would be no trouble at all."

"Thank you, Janice. I knew you would understand and agree with me, and this will be our secret, let's not tell Josephine about it, our secret meetings."

"Yes....of course."

"Thank you, Janice, for having this conversation with me, I will be so looking forward to meeting you, let's say (Elijah outstretched his arm again and looked at his wrist at his watch again) 12:00pm? That is my lunch break

"Yes."

"I will be bringing the lunch, Janice, my treat. You just make the tea and the sweets"

Janice agreed and Elijah was happy, not alone would he have an invitation to Josephine's house, but he would be having a delicious moment with her mother, who would him everything about Josephine. Elijah was most pleased with himself for pulling it off, being able to compel the mother and having some alone time with her. Elijah grew closer and closer to every moment making Josephine his, he would soon.

She will be mine

Elijah said and thought to himself
