Only For One Night

After my Professor Mrs. Waters had disappeared from teaching at Mystic Falls, I became worried that she might never return. I and the rest of my classmates were told she was sick and ill and that she was just taking a break. I didn't know how true that was, but she was soon replaced.

The new professor changed everything. He made the class write more essays and do more work. Especially me. I didn't care for him, or cared about the rumors that went around the school.

I just missed Mrs. Waters, my favorite English teacher. I missed how she was kind and how she made me feel confident about myself.

Now, that she was gone, a new professor showed up.

His name was Professor Elijah Mikelson, I did my best in class and worked hard. His essays were a challenge. Everything about him was a challenge in the classroom.

He was strict on assignments being due, and he did not accept late work.

There was something about him, but I didn't take too much notice.

But, I was warned to stay away, one time, was all it took, for me to make that mistake of not listening. Once, that was all it took for me, to not realize, that I was in danger.
