I went into town and searched for an apology gift for Elijah. I thought maybe, getting him one might let him ease up and loosen off me. However, my mother and I went to the doctor the next day, I had to miss school.

"It turns out it was nothing." The doctor said in his black rolling chair and long white coat proud and happy

"Nothing?" My mother asked amazed and happy and hugged me

"Nothing, your daughter is fine, the results all came back and Josephine is as healthy as can be."

My mother looked at me in relief

"THANK YOU, SO MUCH DOCTOR!" As my mom and I embraced and she rubbed my back

"I was so worried honey. Doctor,  I.....didn't know what to do."

"Well, now both of nothing to worry about."

He smiled

"Still, though, Josephine, if ever you are not feeling well or like I said uneasy again, you need to come back."

"Thank you, so much doctor, I will."

"You have a wonderful and bright daughter, mom. You don't know how many teenagers I get who simply refuse to see me or come in when they should. I'll hold you to that promise Josephine, you two have a wonderful and good day "

The doctor clicked his pen and put it in his front little pocket

"We are going out to dinner just to celebrate." I smiled at my mom as she and I left and she hugged me one more time kissing my forehead and bringing me to her neck and still rubbing me as we walked out of the office to take the elevator down

"Mom, I'd like to  go to town for a card for someone, if you don't mind."

"Of Course Honey, we can do that."

My mother and I went out to eat. We both talked and were both happy about my results and so relieved. I did get that card for Elijah. Still, I needed a gift. I just didn't know what to get Professor Mikaelson, surely the card wasn't enough and then it came to my mind. Buying him something at the bakery might do. I did so the next day before school started and I put it in a gift bag. I made sure, to at least, if I could, if possible, be the first one in the classroom as I hurried and left, the one before it. I could tell though that my friend was watching me knowing I was acting funny, all day even though she was glad to have me back to school hugging me and greeting me with open arms.

"He got on my last nerves and everyone else's! Are you prepared to take his missed tests, do you have his work? Alexandria asked me next to her in our math class.
