Josephine's mother knocked on her door
"Josephine? Sweetheart? Dinner's ready
But, Josephine wouldn't reply as her mom stood by her door and knocked. Her daughter was not replying but her eyes were open laying on her pillow and under the covers but looking straight ahead out the window and the wall. She then came in and opened her daughter's door as she saw her still but as she came closer. Janice understood that her daughter wasn't at all in a good place in time and was going through something. Janice just tried to be a mother the best she could to Josephine, that's all she could do. Do the best she could as her parent.
"Josephine, I need you to talk to me and to tell me how you are feeling.
Her mother touched her arm and shoulder as Josephine still lay unmoved.
"If you are in pain or hurting you need to tell me, otherwise I cannot help you."
"Josephine...."
"Mom, I don't want to return to class tomorrow. I don't want to go to school."
"Is it because you don't feel well honey?"
"Yes, you don't have to go back tomorrow. However, Josephine. The doctor said you can go back. AND, Your Professor just called me Josephine.
"My professor?"
"Which one?"
Professor Mikaelson, your literature teacher
"He What?" Josephine asked panicked and looking at her mother not liking, the fact that he called and that he just talked to her mother and called the house
"You can't miss any more school honey, or his classes, and I mean any of them. You'll, fall behind. And, that's, not at all like you. You love school!"
Josephine immediately sat up and looked at her mother
"Look at my hand mom!
"Look at it!"
I held my hand up and saw my mom could see the Anti-tremor gloves. My mother was upset too and already worried that yet again we had to go to the hospital and go and get treated.
"Mom, I hate that Class!"
"What class Josephine?"
"Professor Mikaelson's!"
"Josephine, why? This is the first time, I have ever heard you say that."
.
"Well, I do Mom."
"Why, honey?"
"What's going on to make you hate it?"
