It was a hot day today in Miyagi, the sun was out and training camp season was approaching. Numerous students stopped by seemingly restocking their supplies, mainly snacks and tape for their fingers, some getting ice cream and drinks to cool off, others having meat buns after long hours of practice. But it was still too early for the sports teams to drop by as everyone was practicing.

The door opened, causing the blond haired man to set down his newspaper and turn around to find a girl from Karasuno entering.

His eyes widened. She held a black umbrella, the handle and shaft looking a bit bigger than normal, he could tell that something was hidden inside of it. She had unruly ebony hair, it reminded him of the feathers crows had. She wore the standard uniform for the girls, with much longer socks that reached up her thighs and instead of the blazer and vest it was replaced by a black haori that reached her knees.

"What are you doing here you brat?" he asked, lips twisting into a smirk. The girl smirked as well "nothing much old man, just checking to see if you were still alive." she nonchalantly replied taking a seat in front of the counter, her arms folding as it rested on top of it.

"Aren't you supposed to be scheming around somewhere? or terrorizing the new demon slayers?"

She gave him an odd look, "The final selection exam has only started, it ends next week monday." She told him as she slid a brown envelop towards the man "this is your monthly pay for training the kasugai crows."

Ukai took it, not bothering to check the amount as Karasu never was cheap when it came to paying them, honestly the demon slayer corps had better pay than other jobs but that was most likely to compensate its dangerous nature. "Thanks brat, we'll send the crows next week as well." He told her as he pocked the envelope.

"So I-'

The door slammed open as Takeda entered the shop. Ukai clicked his tongue "you again? don't you know that no means no?" he glared at the man. Takeda smiled shamelessly before turning to Karasu, noticing her presence. "Eh? Karasu? What are you doing here? I thought you excused yourself from practice because of your job.." he then looked at Ukai, and connected the dots.

"You're also in the corps?!" Takeda questioned pointing a finger at Ukai whose eyes widened. "Why does he know about it?" Ukai then questioned Karasu who was looking at her fingernails. "You probably heard that I became a student at Karasuno while working as their sports analyst." she told the man offhandedly "I chose to tell Takeda so he can help me by coordinating with my schedule, its simple as that."

"So Takeda's begging you too to become the coach huh?"

"What do you mean too???" he eyed Takeda who sheepishly looked away.

Karasu placed a hand on her chest "Of course he'd beg me to personally oversee the boy's volleyball club more so than the other clubs, they need me, who wouldn't after all? I'm one of the best and most quali-Ack!" "Karasu!"

Ukai had rolled up his newspaper and smacked her on the head, he pointed the rolled up weapon at her and reminded her "didn't i tell you I don't want that fake mask of yours! speak like yourself brat!" Seikuu pouted at his words "sorry, he begged me to personally oversee the boy's volleyball club since he thought he was inept."

"Better" Ukai huffed at the girl, he still didn't understand why the girl had to act like such a snob intentionally pushing people away from her. He wasn't blind to her antics, that's why he put a stop to it when he was talking in his presence. Takeda frowned, Ukai had confirmed that she was purposely acting out of line, he'll have to talk to her about that later.
