As promised, Michimiya fulfilled her end of the bargain and so she was going to fulfill hers. She walked to the gym where the girl's volleyball team practiced. They were all there thankfully, so she didn't need to waste time in breaking them down and building them back up.
moments ago..
"All right, any minute now Karasu-san will arrive so we should all be in our best behaviour and be respectful." Michimiya told the girls who stood up, most of them were sleepy. Michimiya had to be extra strict to get them here extra early. The girls grumbled amongst themselves, finally realizing why Michimiya was pushing all of them to attend practice 7 days straight. It was all part of a deal, to get the oh so esteemed Karasu Seikuu's eyes on them.
"I don't get why you're so hellbent on getting that girl to coach us, from what I heard, she doesn't respect her senpais.." Manami, the team's setter, had voiced out. She was a 2nd year, she had very short brown hair and light tan skin and was fairly tall like some of the other girls in the club.
"Come on Manami, don't be like that. Karasu is actually an okay person" Michimiya said, or so she heard from Daichi, her crush. "With Karasu-san's help, we will be able to get stronger quickly like the boys." She added, it was no doubt that the girls volleyball club knew that their counterparts were doing better.
Of course there were some mixed reactions from the team. Her best friend Aihara Mao, and the 2nd year Sudo Rinko seemed excited and all for it, while there rest varied from hesitation or simply indifference. Her shoulders sagged as she felt a bit disheartened. The last seven days had been hard for the timid captain who forced herself to be strict with her team to get them to stop skipping practice.
Her teammates of course were upset with how strict she had gotten, not used to her threatening to lower their co-curricular grades if they didn't stop skipping even if it would have have been well-deserved in all honesty. The doors of the gym opened wide as a figure entered the court. It was just in time for the sun to rise at the crack of dawn, casting everything in its reach a golden hue.
Karasu Seikuu entered the gym, Fuu was on her shoulder, as she held her duffle bag and a cane. Her one arm was still bandaged, her wound oddly not recovering quickly as usual but she paid it no mind, no wound had ever stopped her before, so clearly not now either.
"The esteemed Karasu Seikuu has arrived." She flashed a confident smile as she placed her hands on her hip. "Applause." She bluntly said with a bored look.
The girls looked at each other, most thinking that it was going to be hard to tolerate the black haired student. Michimiya of course enthusiastically clapped her hands causing Karasu to feel a bit satisfied. She set her duffle bag down near the wall as she then closed the doors of the gym tight shut.
She turned to them once more, now she was no longer smiling. A tense atmosphere filled the gymnasium as she walked towards the group of girls. "Form a line based on your jersey number." She stated pulling a pen and clipboard. Fuu silently flew up, perching herself on one of the rails, her eyes staring at them intently. The players shivered, wondering why she had a pet crow, was she related to the famous Couch Ukai??
"Michimiya Yui, #1. Role?" She stated looking at the captain. "Ah I'm the captain and a wing spiker!" the girl said stopping herself from saluting, it was weird. Karasu radiated a domineering presence that shut all the girls up and made them freeze.
Karasu moved onto the next girl, getting their names and roles as she only knew Michimiya by name. She walked back in front of them, pen tapping her clipboard as she frowned, clearly unimpressed. "For the record, I know you all practiced for 7 days straight both morning and after classes. But I'm disappointed at the quality of your practices, basically most of you are just wasting our times cause you clearly aren't serious." Karasu deadpan as she bluntly stated, they all flinched as if stabbed by an invisible nail.
