'It seems that I have stopped loving Volleyball, otherwise, why do I feel so empty despite winning the set?'

22 - 22, the second set was in Karasuno's favor. Their lineup rotated once more as it was their turn to serve, specifically it was Karasu's first serve. Every player and audience had their eyes on her. She was quickly becoming a formidable wing spiker. Her spikes were strong, easily getting through blocks. Her receives were okay, better than Tsukishima's and Hinata's so she was able to often give a stable receive for Kageyama to set.

She held the ball as she stood at the back. "Oh god" she cursed to herself, having forgotten how to serve. She closed her eyes for a few moment, the court became silent as if letting her concentrate.

How did she serve again?

She remembered playing with a bunch of kids, well she was only subbed in to serve, it was the only thing she could do at the time. She couldn't let nostalgia distract her however as she opened her eyes and sighed.

She tossed the ball up and slapped it, deciding on a overhand serve. The ball reached the other side and as Iwaizumi ran up to serve it, it suddenly changed directions and fell in court. "Woah!"

"Was that a float serve?!" Tanaka yelled in shock turning to Karasu who was silent.

"That was so cool!" Hinata jumped "What's a float serve?" Kageyama had to explain to the orange head what a float serve was as Karasu looked at her hand, she hadn't planned to do a float serve.

"Up top!" Hinata said running to her as she raised her hands, bewildered. CLAP! They had high-fived. Tanaka and Kageyama then Daichi followed suit as they praised her for that serve.

23 - 22,

24 - 22,

25 - 22.

They had won the second set. The first serve, which was a float serve, was simply out of luck. But Karasu played it as if it was deliberate because she didn't want to do float serves back to back to score points. Her overhand serves were as strong as her spikes. She knew that they were only strong because of the muscles she had as a demon slayer. All the points that she scored, all her spikes and serves, quick reflexes were attributed to her physical prowess. It had nothing to do with her skills or training as a volleyball player since it was simply non-existent. Her teammates praised did not help with her internal feelings. She felt like an imposter.

She turned to Daichi, telling the boy that she'll be switching out again with Ennoshita and left the court before they could stop her. Despite winning the second set, she didn't hide her displeasure.

The practice match had ended. The first set had been lose due to Hinata's nerves getting the best of him, the second was won by Karasuno due to Hinata's and Kageyama's quick as well as Karasu's serves during the end.

The third set however was quite tricky when Oikawa entered at the latter half or near end of it. His serves were strong and terrifyingly accurate, he targeted those with weak receives or defense mainly Tsukishima. But Karasuno pulled through in the end and won thanks to Kageyama and Hinata.

And so the two teams bowed and then went to their respective coaches. Takeda had gave a poetic speech, one that made Karasu wonder if the message went over Kageyama's and Hinata's head having seen the look on their places. "Have them wipe their sweat and drink their bottles before I give my analysis." She told Takeda who informed Seijoh's head coach. She was writing the last bits of information in her clipboard. She'll give them a rough analysis then send her full detailed on tomorrow at her earliest convenience.
