A loud yawn resounded in the classroom, students gaped at their black haired classmate who shamelessly displayed her lethargy during class of all times, in front of the strictest teacher in the school.

"Karasu Seikuu!" the teacher gritted their teeth, gripping the chalk tightly that they were surprised it hadn't turned to dust under his grip. The girl tilted her head, a bored expression on her face "what's the problem teach?" she asked. "Stop sleeping during class or if you're going to yawn then don't do it so obnoxiously and loudly!" the teacher scolded, he was the most strictest teacher in the school and taught one of the most hardest subjects which was math, he was also there homeroom teacher. He was Sugaku-sensei, and he was supposedly tired with the girl at this point, even if it was so early into the school year.

The class all collectively grumbled, annoyed at the black haired girl. After the first day of school she had begun to act out, acting obnoxiously and prideful, she was filled with arrogance and was a troublemaker during classes. Their lessons would stop momentarily as the teacher scolded her which was a waste of precious time. Their class was a college preparatory one after all so every lesson of every day counted.

The class ended on an awful note with a couple of Karasu's classmates glaring at her in annoyance. She didn't mind, now silent once again as she stared out the window before packing up her things and leaving the class.

'I don't need to be liked, I rather be hated and ignored.' she told herself.

She was almost there, the more she acted out, the more her classmates would avoid her, dislike her and then ignore her. That was the best thing for someone in her situation. She needed her privacy, as she walked down the flight of stairs she pulled out her phone and stared at the numerous reports that had just been sent to her. She clicked her tongue in annoyance, she was the person responsible for the management and information of the demon slayer corps, such information was not privy to even demon slayers of high rankings like the Hashiras.

Such information was privy to Kagaya, his family, herself, her most trusted kakushi and of course the murder of crows. The one who compiled such information were Kagaya's children, originally it was Amane's job but as Kagaya's condition worsened she had to take care of him and such tasks befell onto their children's hands.

One (1) message sent from Mizu Hashira.

She raised a brow, it was quite rare for a hashira to initiate contact with her. Most loathe her due to the antics she and their precious Oyakata-sama performed. They found her personality annoying and disrespectful when interacting with the esteemed leader of the corps. "Well it's less surprising because it is Giyuu." she said more to herself, although the man was rather antisocial, he was one of the few Hashiras who earnestly approached her. Of course she had rejected such advances.

'A man who believes he doesn't deserve to live, that he is not a true hashira wants to interact with someone like me, a no good problematic demon slayer holding one of the most taboo positions in the organization belonging to a family with tainted roots.' She mused to herself as she opened the message, her eyes lit up in fascination at his message. He and Urokodaki had recently taken in a young boy and was training him to become a demon slayer, what was more fascinating was that he had a little sister who turned into a demon yet had self-control.
