"Hey Y/N, are you ready? Let's go we're already late." Your friend shouted from outside your room. You shouted back a yes and looked at yourself in the mirror.

Your friend, Kiyoko had planned a double blind date for you both. You denied the idea at first but you haven't gone out recently and this felt like a good idea. You both were dressed in your favourite outfits, feeling all pretty and sexy. 

"I hope the date goes well for both of us," Kiyoko said as you got into the cab.

"Well, it's set by Tanaka-senpai so I'm not too sure." You said and she laughed.

"I have this huge feeling that he's gonna show up as your blind date." You said looking at her. She nodded, agreeing.

"Maybe. Probably. High chance of that." She said and you laughed. Tanaka-senpai's love for Kiyoko was something else.

This one time you and Kiyoko were discussing how the rent was going high and he actually volunteered to pay for it. I mean the things men do in love surprises you sometimes. 

Both of the dates were at different locations. So you got off first and waved Kiyoko goodbye. She wished you all the best and also told you not to fuck it up with your yapping. You sarcastically laughed and shut the door in her face. You stood at the gate of the restaurant, gathering all your courage for this. You walked inside the restaurant and walked up to the receptionist.

"Hi, I'm Y/N. There might be a reservation under the name Tanaka?" You softly asked. The waitress led you inside the restaurant and a special room. She opened the door and led you inside. You could see some muscular guy sitting with his back facing you.

As soon as you entered, he looked back and got up. Ushijima looked at you and he fell in love. His breath got stuck in his throat. He looked at you, probably the prettiest girl he had seen in a while. He couldn't form any words as you stepped forward and offered him your hand. You probably didn't know him.

"Hi, I'm Y/N. It's a pleasure to meet you." You said smiling at him and his heart melted at the most gorgeous smile. You released a breath and shook his head. Forming his composure.

"Uh hey, hi. I'm Wakatoshi Ushijima. The pleasure is all mine." He said, pulling a chair for you and asking you to sit. 

You both started on drinks and made small talk. It was mostly you who was talking because he was too nervous and introverted to do so.

"So Tanaka-senpai told me that you used to play Volleyball?" You asked, excited to hear his answer.

"Yes I do, I played for Shiratorizawa Academy." He said and your eyes lit up.

"I used to go to that academy to play too. I was in the basketball team." You said smiling.

He was surprised to know that you played any sports. Tanaka told him that you were too lazy bum to do anything. The dinner went on smoothly, and finally, Ushijima started warming up and talking to you more. You were having so much fun. 

"I had fun, thank you so much for giving this date a chance." You said as you and him walked to the exit. 

"I had fun too. Probably the most I've had in a while and it's all thanks to you." He said, smiling.
