Sugawara Koshi

"AND KARASUNO WINS!!" The commenter screams into the mic.

The whole crowd stood up, screams of joy filling the stadium. The boys looked at each other in shock and amusement, still not believing they won. They looked at the crowd chanting their names and finally jumped in joy. Happiness and excitement erupted in their bodies and they congratulated and hugged each other.

"WE WON!! KAGEYAMA WE WON!" Hinata screamed, shaking the poor boy to get some expression except a smirk from him. 

Sugawara hugged Daichi tightly. He looked back at the crowd, trying to find the one he wanted to see. The one with whom he wanted to share all of his achievements. The one whom he wanted to hug tightly and the one whose encouraging words he wanted to hear.

He knew he couldn't find you since you probably were hiding away in a corner. But he knew you would be the one cheering loudly with all your energy, no matter where you were. He rechecked the crowd before going to the locker room to change and celebrate with his teammates.

"Koshi, here!" You jumped at seeing your boyfriend. You ran towards him while opening your arms and he did the same. His teammates stopped at the sudden intrusion.

"I'm so fucking proud of you! You're so awesome. I love you so much." You said, wrapped around his body.

"Thank you, love." He said softly, burying his head in your hair. 

"As cute as this looks, we're getting late for dinner. So both of you, move your asses." Daichi said, shooing you away from each other.

"Now now captain, don't act so jealous," Kageyama said, teasingly.  Daichi whipped his head back and glared at the poor boy.

You laughed and freed yourself from Sugawara's grip. You congratulated the other team members, giving them hugs and praises as well. Sugawara looked at you with love in his eyes. Wondering how he bagged a girl like you. What did he do to be your boyfriend? 

"You sure about the plan for today?" Daichi came towards him and whispered.

"Been planning it for 5 years Daichi. Since the moment I met her. I think I'm sure." Sugawara said, putting his hand inside his jacket pocket and toying with the small box he kept hidden.

"Yeah well, everything is ready. Just find the right moment and do it." Daichi suggested. 

Sugawara sighed, the feeling of nervousness swirling inside him. You came back to him and held his hand, flashing your sweet smile at him. He laughed and ruffled your hair. You guys continued your walk to the nearby restaurant, talking and discussing how your day went. Hinata and Kageyama raced to the restaurant to see who still had the most energy. It did result in Sugawara and Daichi scolding them but why would it matter to them? 

"Okay, here we are. Let's go in guys." You said, standing at the door of the restaurant. The guys stopped and stared at you. They looked at each other and smiled.

"Why don't you and Sugawara Senpai go in first? We have some friends and family waiting for us not too far from here. We'll be back as soon as we finish meeting them." Yamaguchi said, scratching the back of his head.

"What? Didn't you guys plan this whole dinner?" You said, confused at their behaviour.

"It's okay, love. If they want to meet their family first, then let them. We'll order first." Sugawara said, reasoning with your confused self. 

"Yeah okay. Come as soon as you guys can okay? We'll be waiting for you." You said.

"Yes, mom. I MEAN MA'AM, I'M SO SORRY." Hinata stumbled upon his words making you and everyone else laugh. 

Sugawara opened the door for you. You walked in looking backwards, still laughing at his teammates making fun of Hinata. He led you to the rooftop. You looked at Sugawara and laughed even more. He went ahead of you and stood still.

"I can't believe Hinata said that. They'll never let him-"

Your words got caught in your throat. You looked at the scene in front of you. Sugawara was kneeling on his knee, holding a small dark blue box in his hands. The whole floor was scattered with petals, candles were lit on all four sides of the room. There was a big 'Will you marry me?' sign in the middle of the room, surrounded by fairy lights. There were your favourite flowers on either side of the sign, and your favourite food that Sugawara always made was kept on one side of the table. You walked towards him, still not believing what was happening.

"What... is this?" You asked, knowing very well what it was.

"This is me wanting to be your forever. Y/N, I don't know how to put this. The things I feel for you, I have never felt it. You make me a whole new person. With you, I find peace. You are my home. The home I want to go back to after a long day at work, the home I find comfort in. You are my favourite person on this entire planet Y/N. There's not a moment that doesn't go by when I don't think about you. I'm so in love with you, and I hope you know. I'm madly, blindly and hopelessly in love with you. And I hope you feel the same. I want to be your forever, I want to be the last person you love. I want to be the one who makes you happy and I want to be the one for you. Will you marry me?" He said, releasing a breath he'd been holding.

You couldn't believe what you were seeing and hearing. You were stunned and speechless. The man you have always dreamed of was kneeling before you asking you the question you had been hoping he'd ask and that too, was just the way you wanted. 

"Yes. A thousand times yes." You said, happy tears falling from your eyes. 

Sugawara grinned and put the ring on you. It fit just perfectly, the way he fit in your life and the way you fit in his arms. You jumped at him, wrapping your arms around his neck and capturing his lips in a deep kiss. 

Suddenly, party poppers burst from all sides of the room and cheers erupted. You flinched in your fiancé's arms. He laughed, knowing what his teammates had planned. The cheers were louder than when they had won the game.

"You guys are so stupid," Sugawara said, laughing and rolling his eyes.

"SHE SAID YES! WE LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH!"

He looked at you with love in his eyes. Adoring this moment. You both looked into each other's eyes. Hoping that his moment would last forever just like your love.
