You sat in your favourite restaurant with Kita before you. You clinked your glasses of wine together and cheered at the 5th anniversary of your relationship. The restaurant had an expensive yet cosy vibe, which is why you loved it. And since you loved it, Kita, of course, did, too.

You stared into your lover's eyes, sitting before you and flashing a smile that made you fall in love with him a little bit more. Every day, your love for each other increased. You wore your favourite dress, which he loved, and your favourite pair of heels with matching earrings. He wore a coat matching your dress and a black shirt inside. He looked as handsome as ever.

"Cheers to the years we had together and many more," Kita said, clinking his glass with yours. You smiled and nodded. You drank the wine as the starters were served.

"Wow, these look awesome." You said, complimenting the waiter, and he smiled.

"Our head chef made them, especially for you both." He nodded at Kita and then left.

"By the way, you said that this restaurant's famous, but there are no other people here." You said, looking around the well-decorated empty restaurant.

"It's the night before Halloween; people must be busy decorating their house and enjoying with their families, you know?" He said, and you nodded. That sounded believable.

You ate your dinner, discussing your work and reminiscing your favourite memories. Kita looked at you, talking about one of your favourite memories of them, and you looked so mesmerising. The way your eyes lit up at every moment you found funny, the way you used your hand to cover up your laugh because you didn't like your teeth, which Kita found absurd. He absolutely loved your smile; he found it to be one of the most beautiful ones he had ever seen.

"And-"

You were about to say something when the staff of the restaurant brought out a three-layered cake with sparkling candles over it. Your mouth hung open as they brought it in front of you. You looked at Kita wide-eyed, and he just smiled.

"Kita, I thought we said no surprises." You whined, although you loved each moment of it.

"It's not a surprise. It's just something you deserve, my love." He said sheepishly, making you chuckle.

The staff clapped and clicked photographs of you both as you cut the cake together. You had some fun moments when you smeared the cake all over his face, and he just stood there, looking at you with one eye. You laughed your ass off as he looked like an idiot with his body and both hands still. You went on to hug him, but he just grabbed your face and smeared the cake onto you as well. You screamed when he shoved his cake into your neck while some of the staff members jumped over to rescue you. They gave you tissues and all the Polaroid pictures and digital pictures they clicked of you both.

You were looking at the photos when you heard multiple footsteps coming into the room. You thought that it might be the staff again, but when you looked up, you saw your parents, his family, both of your siblings and your best friend standing there.

"What the hell is this?" You said and immediately ran to hug your parents as you saw them after a long time. You hugged your sibling and cried a little onto their shoulder. You next hugged your best friend, who, for some reason, was very hyper right now. Happiness was practically flowing out of her face. You hugged his parents and asked about their well-being.

"I was just telling Kita how excited I was- What the fuck?"

You gasped when you turned around and saw Kita on one knee with a ring box in his hands. You covered your mouth with your hands but stood still from the shock.

"He was waiting for your dumbass to stop yapping. He's been sitting like that for 5 minutes." Your sibling commented, and everyone laughed except you.

Tears came into your eyes as you walked forward. Kita smiled at you and forwarded his hand.

"Y/N, you mean everything to me. Every feature of yours, every word and every gesture makes me fall in love with you even more than I already have. You have been a wonderful woman to me ever since the time that I have known you, and I think spending the rest of my life with you would be a dream I've always wanted to live in. I promise to take excellent care of you and make sure you will never regret every moment we'll spend together, and that is why I wanted to ask you, will you marry me?" He said, being formal as usual.

You couldn't stop the tears from coming. You crouched down and put your face into your hands, sobbing like a little kid. Kita came forward and hugged you tightly, knowing that you needed it.

"Oh, come on, dude. He's proposing to you, not murdering you. What are you crying so much for?" Your sibling commented and was instantly silenced by the death glares of all the family and friends.

"Do not ruin the damn moment with your damn mouth." Your mother said, siding with you this time.

"Y/N, I'm sorry if this feels overwhelming. You described your dream proposal to me once, and I know your family being here wasn't the one, but I figured that you'd want the people most important to you witnessing a special moment for the both of us." He said, patting your back.

You looked at him and smiled. You grabbed his face and kissed him while your whole family cheered. You got shy and hid your face in his chest while he laughed.

"Is that a yes?" He asked.

"Of course, it is. A thousand times, yes. I love you so fucking much." You said, getting up while he made you wear the prettiest ring that you had ever seen.

You admired the ring on your fingers, knowing that it was the most valuable thing that you owned now. You looked at Kita, taking blessings from your parents. Love infected your heart.

"Thank you for choosing me, Kita."

"I will always choose you. In every universe, in every lifetime. I'd always choose you, Y/N."
