Recently, you have been feeling alone. Like nobody liked you. Maybe it was your overthinking, maybe it wasn't. But you were surely feeling like it. You didn't know whether you should talk to someone about it because you felt like you might disturb them. And you didn't want to feel like a burden or for them to think that you just wanted attention.
Your best friend, Hinata has been busy all day with his practice matches but he did keep texting you whenever he was free which was very rare. Your female friends were busy too. Alisa had been checking up but even she was busy with her job. Kiyoko too was busy managing the club. You felt like you had no one to talk to. You were sitting in your room with all these thoughts clouding your head. You were bawling your eyes out as these harsh thoughts kept roaming in your mind. You didn't notice your phone buzzing.
Hinata on the other hand was getting worried. He was well aware that he hadn't been giving time to you. And he knew how easily you overthought stuff. He kept trying your phone but it went straight to voicemail. He went towards Kiyoko to ask her.
"Hey Kiyoko-san, have you heard from Y/N?" He softly asked. Kiyoko looked up as he was on the ground, writing the progress they were making.
"No, Hinata. I haven't. I have been meaning to ask her about it but I had too much stuff to do that I keep on forgetting." Kiyoko said with a sad expression.
Hinata nodded and packed his bags. He planned to go straight to your house. He hadn't seen you for a couple of days so it was a good excuse too. He went towards your house and he tried your phone once more but to no avail. He sighed as he prayed that you weren't crying. He had an extra key to your house. You guys had been friends for over 7 years and you trusted each other with the keys.
He opened the door to your house and got in. He could hear the sound of you sobbing so he dropped his bag and ran to your room. He slammed your door open and saw you sitting on the bed with a pillow in your arms. Your head snapped up at the sudden noise. Your face and eyes were so red, it was concerning to Hinata. Your hair was dishevelled and your room was a mess like you deliberately threw things over.
"Oh my god Y/N what happened?" Hinata asked as he slowly made his way towards you.
You instantly got up and opened your arms towards him, tucking yourself in his arms. He wrapped his arms around you, one hand on the back of your head and one arm around your waist drawing circles there.
"Shhh, it's okay lovey. Everything's going to be okay." He softly said in a calming voice.
He let you cry in his arms for as long as you wanted. He knew what you were crying about. He was sorry that he hadn't been able to give time to you. It pained him so much to see you in this condition. He patted your head, whispering good things in your ear.
"I'm so sorry lovey. I haven't been able to give time to you. I was so busy with the matches that I forgot I had a life outside it. I am so sorry. I'm the one to blame here. Please don't cry." Hinata said, trying to calm you down. But you still didn't.
"I still love you the same, you know. You're still the same Y/N to me who beats the shit out of me whenever I miss my lunch or practice matches. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to give time to you. Kiyoko and Alisa are sorry too. They wanted to be here but their jobs forbid them." Hinata tried saying that too.
You finally slowed down. You looked up at him and he wiped your tears, laughing at your face.
"Damn, you look ugly right now," Hinata said, laughing even more. You hit him hard on the shoulder and he backed up, owing his way.
He was considerate. You admit that. He had been there for you in your worst time. Even in your worst times, he saw the best in you. And even in your worst lies, he saw the truth in you. He knew exactly what you were feeling or what you wanted because that's how great he was. You never wanted to lose someone like him. You always feared you would lose him but he made sure that you knew that you wouldn't. You loved him, the most. And you'd do anything to make sure he knew that.
Question for the day:
