Tord sits and his desk with a pen in hand. He had been doing busy-work around lunchtime a few days after what had happened with Tom. Unfortunately, having a giant monster required a lot of paperwork. Tord was okay with that, since the benefit of having a monster was far too great to make him care.

As Tord writes down some important info in Tom's file, he's hit in the face with several small peas. Frowning, he sets his pen down and turns to the culprit. "I said you can eat lunch with me, but if you're going to play with your food and be a distraction, I will make you leave."

Edd giggles at Tord before putting his spoon in his mouth. "Okay, Okay, sorry."

"Don't talk with your mouth full."

Edd scoffs, quickly swallowing what he had in his mouth and leaning over to see what Tord was writing. Tord sweeps the few peas that had fallen onto his paper into a nearby trash bin, "Breathing down my neck won't make me work any faster."

"Ugh, you're so bossy; always getting after me about something.. Maybe if you work slower, we could hang out more." Edd jokes with a smirk.

"No, because I need you to catch up with Matt and the others. Being incapacitated for a week and a half like that did you no good." Tord uses his robotic arm to nudge Edd a distance away from himself so he could keep writing.

"But that's boring! You've been doing nothing but work, work, work the whole time we've been here; I think you could use a break."

Tord pauses at Edd's remark. He was right, after all. Since he got back after the crash, Tord had been preparing for his next move so much, he'd forgotten that he needed to take breaks occasionally, too. "What's your point."

"I'm saying that we should go hang out! Just go into town for a little while, maybe go to the shops. I swear, you haven't left this place since-"

"Alright, Okay! I get it, Edd." Tord lets out a sharp sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. Leaving was always risky, but he did need it. Edd was offering to come with him, so that would make it more bearable than most other times. Tord starts putting things back into files and closing his computer, which makes Edd excited.

"So you'll go?"

"I suppose-"

"Hooray!!" Edd sits up, his hands pumping fists into the air. "Ow- My arm-" Edd recoils and clutches his arm, which still had some bandages on it.

"Edd! You still have to be careful!"

"Aha.. Yes, Sir." Edd smiles bashfully, he cheeks flushing pink with embarrassment.

"Just- Let me call Patryck and tell him we'll be out." Tord turns his chair away from Edd, pulling out his phone and dialing Pat. Edd stands up and throws his mostly empty tray of food away, excited that he'll get to spend time with Tord some more. He had to admit, joining Tord's army was strengthening their friendship that was once broken.
