𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐏 to school with Caroline and Elena. The blonde still hadn't resolved her argument with the Bennett and my twin had tried to help, "Have you talked to Bonnie?"

The Forbes girl scoffed, "No, I'm mad at her. She needs to make the first move."

"Be the bigger person," Elena tried.

"Impossible in her presence," The blonde shot back.

I rolled my eyes, "Why are you so pissed at her anyway?"

"She's a thief, that's why." Caroline scoffed, "I gave her my necklace and she refuses to give it back. It's a matter of principle."

"All right, well, I tried," Elena shrugged, "I'm officially out of it."

"Good," She smirked, "Your turn. Where's Stefan? Have you talked to him?"

My twin shook her head, "He's avoiding me."

"Why?" Care asked.

"It's complicated," The younger twin sighed, "I'll see you later."

"Bye," The blonde waved as I went with my sister inside the school.

𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐓 around our usual lunch table with Elena and Bonnie as the witch told us about a nightmare she was having, "Then I ended up at the remains of old Fells Church before I woke up back in the woods."

I frowned, "And you always see your ancestor Emily?"

She nodded, "That's weird," Elena added.

A nervous expression etched across the Bennett's face, "Do you believe in ghosts."

I only shrugged whereas Elena said, "Two weeks ago, I'd say no, but now-"

Bonnie cut her off, "I think I'm being haunted."

I frowned, "I just don't get it. Why Emily?"

"Grams said she was a powerful witch in the Civil War days and that this medallion was hers," She gestured to her neck, "It's a witches talisman."

"And it all started when you got the necklace?" My sister asked.

Bonnie nodded, "I think she's using it to communicate with me."

"What does your Grams say about it?" I asked.

"I can't call her," She sighed, "She's gonna tell me to embrace it. I don't wanna embrace it. I want it to stop." I nodded understandingly, unsure of what to do.

𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐓 in the backseat of Bonnie's car as I leant between the two front seats. The dark-skinned girl held a frightened look on her face after her encounter with Damon, "He's bad news, guys. He really scared me."
