She wants to be loved but the way things are going makes her wonder, does love want her?
Does love know that she's here waiting, whether it's coming soon or going to take forever?
The love she always wants to feel once in her life, by the right person at the right time;
And then he says, "you is all I see, you is all i need. Oh no I wanted this to rhyme!"
She wonders, Does love know the route to her direction, does he know where she is standing by?
Tell her so she could dress up, make up and
Freeze the tears so he won't see her cry.
He shouldn't know how desperately she's been waiting, how keenly she wants to know how he shines so bright;
But then her mind wanders and makes her pray that he won't dim her own light.
That little flame has just been glowing in her, has been showing out so the world would know her worth;
Because if this time that light stops working, this time is the last when she's going to pray to be swallowed by the earth.
