Last night was pretty fun - for me. But God knows why Roshni's Mom have invited everyone for lunch today.

I wore a blue blazer and a white tshirt underneath, sleeves folded till my wrist.

I was late for the lunch. Everyone was sitting on the table and waiting for me. I apologized for being late and realised that Roshni wasn't there. I didn't ask where she was and ate silently with everyone.

After the lunch was over I saw Roshni hurrying in the living room.

"What took you so long ˈbādə? (Beta in tamil) " Her Mom asked her in tamil accent.

"Sorry got caught up in work, you'll had lunch?"

"Yess, you had lunch?" Her Dad asked with softness in his voice.

"Yes but I am still hungry." She said touching her stomach.

"Eat after I finish talking." Her mom said.

"Yeah you wanted to talk something na." She said taking a seat beside her dad.

"So I was talking to the family pandit in the morning about the marriage dates... " Her Mom begin to speak but Roshni interrupted, "What marriage?"

"Aiyyoo your wedding with Vansh."

"One second who told you we are going to get married?"

"Are you drunk Roshni last night you announced about dating Vansh." Aadhya said.

"I announced about dating him not marrying him." She said with frustration building up in her voice.

"Yeah but if you are dating him, it's to marry right! You are not a teenager anymore that you'll casually date." Zayn made a valuable point besides that we are not actually dating.

"I have been dating him for just 4 months, how can you expect me to decide if I am going to marry him in such a short time."

"You know him since 7 years how much more time you want. Whole family, the whole friend group knows him so why do you want to waste time?" Her Mom almost shouted, this is getting heated.

"I am not wasting time, I am giving myself time so I do everything carefully. What's wrong in that?" Roshni protested.

"How much time you want? You are going to be 29 soon... By the time you get married Saloni's child will be eligible to marry. You are not just wasting your time but also that man's time." His Mom said pointing towards me.

"Ask him if I am wasting his time." Roshni looked over her left shoulder to see me, "Tell her, am I wasting your time?" She asked with anger in her eyes.
