Day 1Today is the first day of wedding functions. It was our haldi and we were supposed to do it together at my place. Everyone suggested why book any other place when my place looks nothing less than a palace. Vansh's place still needed 3-4 days more until it will be fully used to live so the only option left was my home.
The terrace was decorated with yellow flowers which smelled like royalty. There were yellow and white lights to enhance the look and also the sitting place of the bride and groom was effortlessly beautiful.
Vansh was personally involved with my family in doing all the preparations while I just gave an excuse that I wasn't well and wanted to take some rest.
Aarnav nowadays is my family's favourite because he's been in front in all the preparations. Aadhya is mostly busy in taking care of Asher but now he has started bonding with his nani more than Aadhya so she had ample amount of time for herself. Having a Mom makes your life so much better.
Even though my Mom was forcing me to get married but deep down I know if in future my husband ever mistreats me, she will be the first one to fight for me.
All of us were dressed in yellow colours. I was wearing a yellow sharara with white in contrast and Vansh was mostly twinning with my outfit.
We sat next to each other and some elder women started performing some rituals.
"Are you feeling better now?" Vansh whispered.
"What happened to me?" I asked smiling at people standing at distance.
"You were not well na."
I totally forgot about it.
"Yeah I am fine now." I said in a convincing tone.
"Your lying might be convincing for others not for me." He said and I turned to look at him.
"Your eyes are unable to convert your lie into truth... So develop some acting skills." He said smiling.
"I was able to convince others." I said.
"Ouuu!! In that case... Maybe I know you so well that I know when you are lying and when you are not."
"So beautiful you look together." Amma touched our cheeks with utmost love.
We were applied haldi by the elders first and then we were attacked by our friends. By the end of the function we both looked like we returned from a horrible war.
The entire place was filled with haldi and the environment was swinging with music.
We were forced to do a couple dance, before I could refuse Vansh pulled my hand and made me dance.
