Natalie's POV-
In this vast universe draped with a septillion stars, trillions of galaxies, and an unimaginable number of planets, all veiled by unknown mysteries of their own, an occurrence of an incredible miracle doesn't seem so distant to me.
I've always been a nerd when it comes to astronomy and novels, they're different in the literal sense and every other way but to me, they're my solace, an escape from reality, the beautiful stars and the ever-changing universe give me hope of a change, a welcoming one. They make me feel that my problems are mere obstacles I'll easily surpass as long as I do not give in and make them seem bigger than their actual worth. Whereas, novels are extremely fascinating because I've got an extremely creative and imaginative mind. When I read a novel, it's as if the whole plot is unfolding in front of me. I've read novels of various genres but my favorite of them all is transmigration. Any bibliophile would agree with me when I say that there are few parts of a book, where we'd at least once feel that the plot could have been different or at times we would love a book so much that we'd at least think once that it would be a beautiful miracle to exist in such a world and that's why isekai and transmigration novels are extremely famous.
I really missed my student life where my worries were all about finishing my assignments and preparing for my semester exams, and the rest of my time was dedicated to reading novels, fervently discussing them with my equally novel-obsessed friends, making memories and enjoying life. Though I'm just twenty-two years old this year, it feels like it's been ages since I graduated, and got stuck in the monotonous loop of work.
As I was waiting to cross the road while returning from my workplace, I saw a truck rushing towards me, this was the worst of cliches that could possibly happen to me, I would take any cliche other than this, being clumsy enough to collide head-on or anything was alright, but why did the infamous truck-kun decide to grace me with its noble presence? I tried to move, but I didn't have much time, the truck was heading at a speed that would make the NASCAR racers envious. These were the last thoughts I had before I felt pain everywhere and lost my consciousness
