Janet

Story's brown locks curled down the side of her bright cheek, her smile went from ear to ear as I watched her. Her smile turned into a goofy giggle, her silly nature put a toothless smile on my face. To her left sat Stevanna, her laugh erupted from her mouth and her smile was as big as mine. I watched in awe as my babies got along, as I sat on the sidelines during rehearsals.

Their laughs and giggles were music to my ears. Two of my favorite girls, the only two girls that could never disappoint me. They give me a feeling no one else but Eissa can give me. You have to be a mother, to know the feeling. I'd sacrifice so much of myself, just to keep those pretty girls smiling.

"Booty" Gil's voice snapped me out of my daze. My eyes fluttered and I faced the direction from which his voice came from.

"What, why are you calling me that" I chuckled in his face to my right.

He smiled leaning over my shoulder. "You weren't listening when I called you Janet five times in a row" he spoke in his cheery tone.

I could feel my cheeks growing pink. "Ok, what's up" I asked.

"You guys look ready for One Musicfest"

"Thanks Gil" I gave him a half smile.

He gave me a wink. "No problem love" he looked ahead of us in the direction of the girls. "Wow, look at them, I remember when Story was just learning to walk in rehearsals" he said making me giggle.

I could just picture her little self wobbling along the floor. "Yesss" I sung. "She was just the cutest"

Overtime, Story was coming around more, she'd want to handout with me after school. Both her and Stevanna, came along with myself to auditions for Bryan's replacement. Eventually after four auditions we found a guy.

The girls always had a sisterly bond, I took all the blame for Story's trust issues so she wouldn't be mad at Stevanna. I didn't want her to hate her sister, I know how important siblings are. We began rehearsing with Dean and the kids for the One Music Fest, I had many surprises for the fans.

Surprise guest, wardrobe changes and our brand new addition to the crew. Josh, was our new talented dancer, he learned our routines and dances all in three days, I was impressed and pleased with his work. The boys played nice with him.

Unfortunately, I knew it was all an act, they were really upset with me for firing Bryan. Their behavior was odd, they didn't act the same. At the end of the day, they're my employees and this is business. So the boys feelings were the very last of my worries.

My first worry was fixing my damaged image, as the weeks went on, my name was still the main topic of everybody's discussion. With both my manger and publicist gone, it was up to Christopher, Gil and myself to do something quick.

"Janet, do you have time to go over the dance one more time" Dean asked.

"Hell no" I whined. "Dean I need a nap"

He chuckled to himself. "If you say so, I'll just have the boys do it without you this one time around" he spoke in his cheery accent.

"Okay, I'll head home, if that's okay with you?"

He nodded his head. "Sure, go get some rest"
