Summary: first Gavin imagine!! Meeting him and getting to know him.

Y/n point of view

With a heavy sigh I eyed out my empty gas tank, I knew I should've filled up before coming to Sunday Service.
My car was parked in the parking lot of my church, I was frustrated and had no idea how I was going to get gas. I was new to Dallas Texas which means I didn't have anyone to rely on.
Frustrated I leaned my head on my staring wheel, cursing myself out for being a dumbass.
Not knowing what to do I exited out of my car and leaned against it, praying that a solution will appear. What made it worse was my stomach reminding me of my hunger, it growled... now I was stuck here AND hungry.
Moving out the way a guy with golden curls walked over and unlocked his BMW that was parked next to mine, I stepped aside making sure he could enter his car on the drivers side.
"You okay?" he asked kindly while opening the car door,
I stood up straight and rubbed my neck out of stress.
"Yeah I'm okay." I lied.
I hated hassling other people because of my stupid mistakes.
"Are you sure?" He asked again, as if he knew I was lying, suddenly it clicked.
I knew who he was, I've seen him on that cute prime series.
"Honestly? I'm stressed because I ran out of gas, and now my engine won't start" I replied.
He closed his car door and lightly perched his lips together before speaking.
"I can get some gas for you? I have a fuel container so I don't mind at all." He assured,
I wanted to deny his offer because I hated being a burden, but this was my solution that I prayed for.
"That would be amazing, I'll Venmo you $100, Thank you for helping me." I thanked him.
who knew actors would be this kind.
"It's no trouble & don't worry about the money, I'm Gavin." he introduced himself happily, I smiled politely and shook his hand.
"I'm y/n, and are you sure? I feel bad."
Gavin agreed.
"I'll fill up the container and come right back."

While he was gone I had to make sure I was right, so I googled the cast of 'The Summer I turned pretty'.
'Gavin Casalengo as Jeremiah Fisher'
Quickly and surely I locked my phone as his BMW parked next to my little pink car, heroically he stepped out of his car with the fuel container in hand.
I stood there pretty much useless as I watched him pour the gas in my tank.
"I seriously owe you. Please, give me your Venmo, anything, I'll buy you lunch or coffee." I pleaded, he turned around and looked speechless and flustered. Without even noticing straight away, I pretty much asked him to go on a date.
Who pleads someone to pay for their lunch or a coffee? I'm such a loser.
"How about we grab a coffee? After this? I'm free and had nothing planned after Sunday service." He replied , I felt butterflies in my stomach as I held my eye contact with him. Those blue eyes were hypnotic.
"Yeah that would be great. I wanna treat you to something because of your kindness today." I commented.
Gavin suggested we leave our cars parked here and walk to the closest strand of cafes and restaurants nearby.
"I'm glad you know where you're going. I'm new here, so I'm always so lost." I explained while we walked, he smiled so cutely, his hands tucked into his jean pockets.
"I haven't seen you at church before, so I assumed you were new." he replied back.

Gavin point of view
We were sat inside of a cafe called La La Land cafe, she paid for our orders which she didn't have too but she was persistent about buying mine.
I tried my best to pull out my wallet but she kept pushing it away. I kept smiling at her.
This was the first time I really felt nervous around a girl. Usually I wasn't nervous at all, I wasn't a shy person.
"How are you liking Dallas so far?"
Y/n looked around the cafe, looking unsure about her answer.
"I love it. It's lonely, but I wanted an adventure."
"How about you? Are you from here? Or?" She asked curiously, I scrunched my nose.
"Born and raised here so I love Dallas. My family reside here still, but I'm hardly home because of my work, so I'm usually travelling." I replied, hesitant if I should tell her about my acting career.
"Good thing you were home when I needed you." Y/n joked, I chuckled to myself and blushed, looking back up at her cheeks were flustered pink.
We talked for hours, getting to know her intrigued me. I wanted to know more, her laugh and smile... I wanted to see more of it.
"It's almost dinner and I better head off, my poor dog at home is gonna hate me for letting him eat dinner late." She joked smiling.
"Thank you again Gavin, I prayed for you and god sent me you." Y/n spoke with a smile and a twinkle in her eye.
I raised my brows before she had the chance to stand up.
"Would I be, um (cough slightly) able to get your number?" I asked shyly, y/n grinned from ear to ear.
"I'd love to give you my number."
"Perfect." I replied under my breath.
She typed her number in my contacts.
"Are you Jeremiah Fisher?" A voice echoed, I turned around and saw a group of fans.
I smiled and agreed.
"Yes I am. Hey guys." I replied kindly, y/n smiled cutely but sort of awkwardly.
She just watched.
"Can we take photos with you?" The fans asked kindly, and of course I agreed.
I hope she didn't mind.
After that we left the cafe and started walking back to our cars.
"Yeah, I'm sorry about that group of girls, all of that back there is because I'm on a TV show on Prime." I explained, y/n smirked and pulled out her car keys as we reached our cars.
"I know." she spoke softly,
"You know who I am?" I asked, y/n nodded her head .
"Yeah, but it didn't matter to me."
I felt speechless, this girl is amazing.
"Thank you for today Gavin, hopefully next time you're home again you can show me around some more." She asked, I definitely agreed to that idea.
"I'd love that. I'll text you." I replied.

Happy with a smug smile, I sat in my car, and finally exhaled a breath. She made me extremely nervous so I felt like I could finally breathe again.
