You get a random text from an unknown number one night, come to find out it's from Gavin Casalegno.

Your point of view

I dreaded thinking about my essay. It was due tomorrow morning and I was only half way done.
1:25am

I had 5-6 more hours before I needed to get up for school and have my essay done.
My college was great because I asked for extended time for this particular essay, so I felt a little ashamed having to finish this last minute.
All I had now was to finish the concluding paragraph, then I was done.

'Ding' 🔔

I felt my phone vibrate, my eyes darted at my Lock screen, an unknown number hmm.

Hey, mom gave me your new number.

I frowned a bit confused. I didn't have any siblings so who the heck was this. Suddenly my phone rang, and then it rang again. This person was trying to ring me... I wasn't gonna pick up and answer.
The only thing to do was reply.

Y/n
Hi, you must have the wrong number .

Sounds like hell, what's your name?

Should I tell a stranger my name? I hesitated and then gave in. Why the hell not.

Y/n
It is hell, but I'm almost done.
My name is Y/N (: what's yours?

Gavin, did you need any help with the essay?

My mouth formed a smirk, a stranger was really wanting to help me finish my essay? I bit my lip and hesitated again. I mean, what's wrong with asking for help right?

This time I sent Gavin a voice message. I told him that I needed help with my concluding paragraph and that was it. Surprisingly he replied back with a voice message...
His voice was smooth sounding.

"So restate your thesis, just an overall reminder for your reader to remember those main points you added." He replied.

A light smile appearing on my face.

"Thank you. You definitely helped me Gavin. May I ask, which college do you attend?" I asked replying back with a voice message.

Suddenly, his number called.

I picked up and said hello.
His voice gave me butterflies for some odd reason. We talked until 4am. I also managed to finish my essay and submit it online.

We were still on call. He asked me to describe what I looked like and so I told him.

"Okay, now you describe what you look like." I asked curiously, I was lying in bed with my feet against my head board.
