"The meeting went unexpectedly smooth, even with you here," Jisoo said.
He squeezed her hand a bit and added, "My thoughts exactly. But the competitions won't be as smooth."
She dug her nails into his hand, too bad she had cut them recently. "Took t...

A week before Jennie's confession
Boys' campus
As the bell rang, signaling the start of break time, the corridors filled with bustling students. Boys dashed past each other, trying to be the first ones to reach the canteen. However, their race came to an abrupt halt upon spotting a brunette standing near the exit to the grounds.
"I assume you all know that running in corridors is not allowed," he said his voice firm.
"TAEHYUNGGGG!" a boy screamed excitedly, lunging towards him and draping an arm around his shoulder.
"Let's go! Everyone is waiting for you in the football ground," he announced enthusiastically. However, her enthusiasm was met with skeptical looks from the group.
"Ugh! Taehyung, it's break time. Stop obsessing over rules," the boy said, removing his arm from Taehyung's shoulder.
Meanwhile, the other five boys observed the scene unfolding before them.
"Why is he so obsessed with following rules these days, anyway? I mean, he was serious about it before, but this is on a whole new level," Namjoon remarked, gesturing toward the scene.
"Haven't you heard?" Yoongi interjected, his gaze fixed on Taehyung and Jimin.
Namjoon looked puzzled.
And there's also a competition for the best head girl/boy," Jungkook explained upon seeing the puzzled expression on Namjoon's face.
"Ah, that explains a lot. By the way, when did this rivalry between him and the head girl start?" Namjoon inquired.
Jungkook shrugged. "Only they know about that."
"Here they come," Jin announced, subtly indicating Jimin and Taehyung's approaching figures.
"Did you save them from the wrath of the evil Kim Taehyung?" Jungkook joked.
"Almost sacrificed my precious life for that noble cause," Jimin replied dramatically, placing a hand on his chest. "You guys are exaggerating," Taehyung rolled his eyes.
"I thought you were waiting for me at the football ground," he said, side-eying Jimin.
"I came to witness the wrath of the notorious Kim Taehyung," Jungkook chimed in, laughing.
"Why don't you witness it firsthand then," Taehyung replied with a smirk.
"How about the football ground?" Jungkook suggested with a bring-it-on smile.
Taehyung's smirk widened. "Sounds like a plan."

With a mischievous glint in his eye and a hint of breathlessness from their intense game, Jungkook couldn't help but tease. "Looks like I dodged the wrath today, huh?"
With a laugh, he caught the bottle Yoongi tossed his way, the motion effortless. "I definitely took it easy on you. And if Namjoon here wasn't the king of clumsy..."
"I told you my shoelaces opened!" Namjoon protested which added fuel to the laughter.
As Jin walked over, curiosity piqued, he couldn't resist poking fun at Jimin. "Hey, Jiminie, what's got you glued to that screen?"
"Updating my admirers," he replied with a wink.
"Well, don't forget to tag the heartthrob of the campus, yours truly," Jin struck a pose.
Jimin rolled his eyes.
"Don't roll your eyes you brat." Jin threw the bottle cap at him.
Amidst the laughter, Jimin couldn't resist teasing Taehyung. "Tae, you still living in the Stone Age without an Insta account?"
"No," Taehyung replied and continued to drink water.
"Even toddlers have it" Jungkook chimed in. "I can breathe just fine without it," Taehyung replied sarcastically.
But Jimin saw an opportunity. "This won't do. Today's the big day we drag you into the Instagram world, Tae. Passwords for all!" Jimin said approaching him and placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Yeah, it's surely high time to shut those fake accounts," Namjoon chimed in.

Present
Girl's campus
Amidst the chatter of the cafeteria, Lisa groaned as she slumped against the table. "Ugh! Why are there so many fake accounts,"
"Who?" Jennie questioned.
Lisa's response was muffled by the table as she lightly banged her head in exasperation. "Your dream man, who else?" she exclaimed
"He's not a celebrity, Lisa," Jisoo rolled her eyes.
Rose, meanwhile, nodded in agreement between bites of her meal. "Yeah, I even stumbled upon some fan pages dedicated to him."
Jennie's brow furrowed in concern. "So, what's the plan now?"
Lisa's frustration peaked as she banged her head a bit too forcefully, obtaining a wince from Jisoo. Rubbing her forehead, Lisa proposed a solution. "I say we bring in someone from the inside." Jisoo placed her cold drink on her forehead to relieve the pain.
"Who do you have in mind?" Jisoo questioned.
A mischievous grin spread across Lisa's face. "Your cousin."
Jisoo shook her head, "Not in a million years."
"But whyyyy?" Lisa asked.
"He's my cousin that's one bigass reason."
Lisa waved off the objection with a smirk. "Come on, Jisoo, you just need to ask for Vanilla's Instagram in a roundabout way. Easy peasy."
A collective look of confusion washed over the group. "It's Kim Taehyung's nickname," Lisa explained matter-of-factly, to which they ohh-ed.
"Or you could always resort to good old-fashioned stalking. After all, he's friends with Taehyung," Rose chimed in.
"Why don't you do it then?" Jisoo gave her a pointed look.
"Well duh! His account is private."
"Jisoo, can you please do it?" Jennie interjected.
"Yes! Please Unnie! I dying for a bit of drama," Lisa said joining her hands while Jennie smacked her.
"Pretty please," Rose joined.
"God! Give me strength to deal with these three devils reincarnates."
Lisa wasted no time in enveloping Jisoo in a tight hug. "We love you, Unnie!"
