Hiro Nagata, a childhood friend of Senku Ishigami, is a normal high school student, but outside of school, he's an outdoorsy kid, with have many skills in survival and learned to live off the land.
While surviving with Senku, after being unpetrified, Hiro and Senku helped out a girl named Kohaku, who lead them to the village to help her sister, Ruri with her illness.
Over time, while Hiro, Senku, Kohaku, and many of their new friends were trying to come up with a way to get Ruri better, Hiro starts to fall for Kohaku's sister and tries to help Ruri stay positive as they come up with something.
