Daichi Matsudo is an Italian-Japanese man roaming around Tokyo all his life and wanting to be accepted for being half Japanese and half Italian, as Japan is known for bullying anyone for being born by different parents' races.
However, Daichi would express himself through music, learning how to play the guitar and speaking English while taking a trip to America, managing to speak the language almost fluently and becoming a really good musician, covering many old time songs from not just America, but also Japan, singing them in his own way.
One night, as he's performing in front of a small crowd of 10 to 15 people, a beautiful girl would catch his eye, causing him to get distracted and missing a note, causing him to get back into his song before embarrasses himself.
After his performance, the girl would come up to him, giving him praise for how good he sounds and how amazing he is on the guitar. Daichi, however, would express gratitude as the girl would introduce himself as Saki Kashima.
The two would get a drink at the bar and would start to become friends, but Saki would soon start to fall for Daichi, as he is that handsome in her eyes.
