Past couple days have been... odd. But when is it not? We got a new exchange student. An Inhuman, more like it. I don't know much about them, but they're a race of people with born or given powers. Which... now that I think about it... maybe I'm Inhuman? Oh, whatever. Thinking about it is confusing.
Anyway, his name is Triton. And though he seems like an introverted and not self aware, he's not a bad guy. He's just a bit misunderstood which I can relate to. I was once seen as an outcast. So I've been making an effort to get to know him and his race. It's actually kinda interesting. Plus, his people have been hiding from us for centuries and we're hoping to try and find a way to come to terms and make peace. Maybe someday.
Even though not that long ago we had a situation where the royal family, who Triton is a part of, was being mind controlled by the King Black Bolt's uncle and was going to use their floating island called Attilan to crush and destroy our city. Luckily, Spider-Man and Triton handled that situation.
As of right now, I was with my partner and White Tiger along with Venom, Cloak, and Dagger. We were making our way to our next class when Spider-Man suddenly jumped down in front of us.
"Guys! You're never gonna believe this!" He exclaimed. Which was odd considering he missed his first class with us. Where was he?
"You know, some of us actually go to our classes." Tiger retorted. Always so attached to her school work.
"You think I was skipping?" He asked her.
"Hey, unless it was something important you have no reason to be skipping. Even I'm still going." I added in. Yeah, I woke up a little sassy today.
"No. That's not- I was in this giant test tube! Filled with green goo! In my closet!" He told us.
But we all only looked back at him with confused expressions. What on Earth was he rambling about?
"Are you feeling well, spider?" My partner asked him.
"You think I'm making this up?" He replied.
"You seem out of sorts." Iron Fist added again.
"I don't need a new brain if that's what you're asking. I'm fine. I know it's hard to believe, but you just gotta see it. Come on." He urged us to follow him as he went swinging off down the hall back to the dorms.
"Let's just amuse him." I sighed before following after the spider hero with everyone else tagging along. Although... I couldn't help but feel like maybe something odd was going on. I can't place it.
"See? Freaky, right?" Once we made it to the dormitories Spider-Man led us over to his closet and opened the metallic sliding door to show us... his pile of costumes.
"What's freaky is you never heard of a washing machine." Dagger retorted.
"A what- now machine?" Venom asked.
"You need help." I told him.
"What? No. There was a tube. And goo. Lots of it. Trust me." Spider-Man rambled, acting very confused and disheveled. Was he ok? "I was dreaming. And my Spidey sense woke me up. And then it did it again and again and then..." He trailed off before letting out a sigh. I was starting to get a little worried.
"You definitely haven't been getting enough sleep." Tiger said to him.
"You think I'm seeing things?" He asked her.
"Possibly. I know I get like that. I know what it's like to be extremely exhausted. I mean, with all the crazy things that's been going on, I don't blame you for being a little loopy." I told him.
