Life with their daughter at Cair Paravel had gone wonderfully for Edmund and Jacqueline.

Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy were about to set out on a hunt for the White Stag. Jackie had wanted to go too but Edmund insisted she stay back. She was in no condition to be riding. She begrudgingly agreed to stay back at the castle with 5-year-old Genevieve.

You see, Jacqueline was nearly eight months pregnant with twins. Despite that, she was not the type of person who liked to sit back while others got to have fun.

Nevertheless, she and Gen waved their family off onto their journey.

"I love you all so much," Edmund said to his pregnant wife and daughter as his pulled Gen into a tight hug then stood and pecked Jacqueline on the lips and blew a kiss toward her bump.

"Alright darling, say goodbye to your aunties and uncle," Jacqueline instructed Genevieve.

"Goodbye Auntie Lulu," the little girl said. Only she and Jacqueline called Lucy 'Lulu'.

"Goodbye sweetie," Lucy replied, hugging the girl tightly like her brother had.

Then Genevieve ran up to Susan. "Goodbye Auntie Susan!"

"Goodbye Genevieve," Susan replied, ever the formal Queen even with her family.

Lastly the little girl ran up to Peter and crushed him in a hug. "Goodbye Uncle Pete!"

"Wow you're strong! Probably get it from your mum," Peter joked. Jacqueline played along, flexing her muscles jokingly. Edmund sent his brother a playful glare. "Kidding! Anyways, goodbye Evie!" Peter was the only one who ever called Genevieve 'Evie'. "We'll see you soon! You'll hardly even notice we're gone."

The siblings then mounted their horses, once Edmund was done doubling over in laughter at seeing his pregnant wife flexing for their 5-year-old.

Finally they were off to hunt the White Stag.
