It was Saturday today that meant, Raj was going on a business trip for a month, everyone was sad except Akriti, she was feeling a different emotion in her it was like she wanted to stop him but she never would, why?? Because they are still strangers, strangers who want to be close, but they don't know how.
Right now Raj and Akriti were in their room, and Akriti was helping him pack up his things, as she got to know that until now his assistant used to help him pack up his things or his mother, this big guy didn't even know how to properly pack his things!!
"Raj do you need this blue suit, cause I've kept one already?" Akriti asked him holding the suit in her hands.
"Yeah, I would need it please help me pack it up." Raj said scratching the back of his neck feeling a little embarrassed about his wife packing up for him, but why should he feel embarrassed, she was his wife and helping him with these things was fair right or not??? These thoughts were around his mind when he snapped up to Akriti's voice.
"Yes, what happened."
"What happened? I've been calling out your name since last 5 minutes, in which world are you?" she said giving him side eye, but suddenly he hugged her,
"Thank you." Akriti knew he wasn't talking about packing but about other things, as she was about to hug him back the door slammed open,
"Ohhhhh my god, my pretty eyes, what did I just saw! Guys atlest keep the door locked." Tejas covered his eyes and looked away, they pulled away as Akriti was a little embarrassed on the other hand Raj was angry, finally he was about to have a little talk with Akriti, and this monkey came in and destroyed everything.
"Don't you know how to knock?" Raj shouted at him as all his anger came out in his words.
"Uhhh, Bhaiya dad called you downstairs as he said that its time to leave!" Tejas said and ran off, before his brother could kick his ass. Raj went and locked the door, as he wanted to have a peaceful chat with Akriti.
"I am sorry that I have to leave just after three days of us getting married."
"It's ok Raj, if I were you then even I would have done the same." Akriti assured him with a small smile on her face, making Raj smile as he felt lucky that he got such an understanding wife.
"If buaji says anything or does anything, do call me ok!" Raj said to her assuring that even if he wasn't here he wanted everything to be alright.
"Ohh, don't worry about her, I'll handle her you should just focus on your work." Akriti said assuring him that she would handle everything behind his back. For now it was time for Raj's flight or should I say his private Jet to take of, so both of them went downstairs.

As everyone said goodbye to Raj and Urvil, hugging them wishing them good luck for their business deal, Urvil came to touch Akriti's feet, but before he could do so she stopped him and hugged him saying that "brother's should not touch their sister's feet" , Raj hugged everyone and said goodbye but something inside him stopped him from hugging Akriti and say goodbye to her, same goes with Akriti she so badly wanted to say goodbye to him and wish him good luck, but something inside her stopped her from doing so, as he went they could just stare at each other with many things to say in their heart.
After they went everyone sat on the couch to rest as the younger clan got ready for their college, the older ones wished them good luck for their exams and now they were having their tea time with Akriti sitting in between getting pampered.
" So Akriti beta, when will you start working?" Mohit asked her sipping his tea.
"I'm already working from home, but officially I'll start from tomorrow, if all the rituals are done" she said and looked at Padma asking her about the rituals.
"Yes beta, all the rituals are done, so start from tomorrow itself, you have a company of yourself to handle, don't waste any time and make profit." Padma said proudly, well of course her daughter-in-law, now daughter is one of the top business women in India, that is something the whole family is proud of, except our favorite Buaji, she never liked Akriti because of her tongue and mostly because of how successful she was.
"Why does this girl need's to work, can't her husband provide for her?" buaji, who heard the conversation while coming downstairs growled at the people sitting in living room.
"Ohh god not again!" Akriti sighed as again she had to deal with toxicity.
"Padma you should know how to deal with your bahu, and Mohit you rather than telling her to stay at home you are promoting her to work, what the hell is wrong with you people." Rashmi shouted at them and they wouldn't say a word which triggered Akriti more.
"Aaise he khula chodo ge is ladki ko to pata nhi kab aur kaha is parivar ka muh kala kar k aae." Rashmi said in a sarcastic tone as the hatred she had was audible in her voice. As of now hearing this Akriti's blood boiled and she marched up to buaji and stared her face to face.
"First of all, you are no one to tell me if I am allowed to work or not, my life is mine, my dreams are mine and no one is allowed to stop me from doing anything even if I am the daughter-in-law of this house, and buaji jaha tak baat hai muh kala karne ji to vo to iss ghar ki ek aurat kar he chuki hai dusri ki karne ki zarurat nhi hai." Akriti said in a very normal yet sarcastic voice and went away from their to her room to get some work done. But halted in the middle as she saw a text on her phone, which made her smile :):):):)
