It was Sunday morning, birds chirping while sitting on the railing of the balcony, and cool wind blowing making the room cold, and here Akriti was dosed of in the sleep, she was a very light sleeper but since last few days even the alarm was not able to wake her up. But soon her beauty sleep was disturbed.

"Uthoooo diiii, 9 baj gaye haiii!" Ruhi barged into the room and jumped on her sister who was sleeping peacefully.

"Ughh, Ruhiiii stop jumping on my back you idiot." Akriti said angrily shouting on Ruhi as that girl would definitely land her in hospital.

"Di, utho yaar aaj apki mehendi hai aur aap yaha ghode bech ke soo rahe ho!" Ansh came inside the room and sat on the chair eating his chips.

"Abee bhukkad, kabhi to khana band kar." Ruhi said getting up and marching towards Ansh snatching his packet of chips.

"Abee bhutni, tune mere chips kyu liye, main tujhe choduga nhi." Ansh said running behind Ruhi and they started chasing each other in the room making a whole lot of noice and irritating Akriti.

"What the hell guys! Maa ne tumko di ko uthana bheaja tha, yaha par aake jhagada karne nahi!" Rohan said loudly entering the room and making them stop in their tracks, but did they listened to him, NO!, instead they started again.

"Rohan you better take these punks out of here or else I'll burry them alive." Akriti shouted very loudly glaring at her siblings, if only stares could burn someone, both Ruhi and Ansh would have been burned down into ashes by now.

"Uhh.. yes di!" Rohan said dragging both of them outside, closing the door he told Akriti to come downstairs and have breakfast.

"Ughhhh, what a morning!" irritatedly she got of bed and went to freshen up and changed into casuals, as the function was going to start by 12 so she had a little time and decided to get some work done.

Comming downstairs she moved towards kitchen and sat on the kitchen counter swinging her legs waiting for her Amma to come and give her breakfast with her morning coffee.

"Amma, coffee!" Akriti said as soon as she saw her mother coming into the kitchen.

"Han han maharani ji subha 9 baje uthi hai unko coffee to lagegi he na!" Shanta said glaring at her daughter at her carelessness. She was getting married and her silliness was increasing day by day.

"Amma...! Give me my breakfast and coffee fast, I want to go and complete my work before the function!" Akriti said getting down the kitchen counter and moving towards the fridge to get water.

"Khabardar!" Shanta said loudly making everyone in the kitchen flinch.

"Khabardar agar aaj kaam ki baat nikali bhi to, aaj mehendi hai aur is ladki ko bas kaam ki padi hai, thoda apne aap par bhi dhyan de, skin dekho kaise ho gai hai, aur sasural vale hai yaha unke samne thode dhangse rehleti, lekin nhi chitkabre pehen ke aa gai!" Shanta said glaring at her daughter as if she did a big crime for mentioning her work.

"Amma, jab tak mera kaam nahi hoga tab tak mehendi ki rasam start nhi hogi! OK!" Akriti said casually taking her breakfast, coffee and running before her mother could hit her.

"Hash bach gai!" Akriti said keeping her food on the table and started having it, while talking with her assistant Ronit about the board meeting.

AKRITI'S OUTFIT

After almost one and a half hour Akriti's work was done and she was headed towards her room for getting ready as her mother was shouting at her for being careless and getting late for her Mehndi ceremony. After getting ready she was told to click some pictures by the photographer, as soon as she clicked the pictures, her room door opened and Raj came inside. His eyes were stuck on Akriti who was looking breathtaking in the simple outfit with minimal makeup and light jewelry, its like she didn't even needed that makeup and jewelry as she would look breathtaking even in a simple outfit, and if he would continue staring at her not only he would make her uncomfortable but all he would need is a cold shower. As the staring contest was going on, the photographer cleared his throat taking both of them out of their senses. As both of them came out of their thoughts, he told them to take a few pictures, and soon they headed downstairs for the ceremony to start.
