Chapter 11

As the cold weather came in full swing, the work around the industrial districts have become lesser for the workers. Walking down the snow covered cobbled road, a group consists of three men and a single woman conversely with each other in a lively manner.

"Ne, onii-chan. Let's go buy something to eat." The young and cheery sister, Nezuko pampered to her brother

"Hai hai. Let's go then." Tanjiro simply smile at her request. "Zenitsu, Inosuke. You're coming as well right?"

"Why of course, Tanjiro. I wouldn't missed it for the world." Zenitsu replied with a wide grin

"If it's free food, I'm in." Inosuke simply replied

"Great, let us go now."

The four happily and merrily walk down the bustling streets filled with commoners and nobles of the like, who all came to shop around for fun. They enter a cafe and were seated before ordering their foods.

"This looks delicious. Ooh, I wonder how that will taste like." Nezuko turns into a complete child despite her womanly appearance

"Order whatever you liked, Nezuko." Tanjiro simply said to her

Once they placed an order, it didn't took long for them to receive their orders. While Nezuko is having some cake and Inosuke is munching down on his meal, both Zenitsu and Tanjiro ordered a simple black coffee. Though they are seemingly spending some leisure time, Tanjiro's gaze never shifts from his objective.

"Now then Tanjiro." Zenitsu place down his cup. "What's next?"

"Hmm? What else is there Zen?" Tanjiro sets down his own cup. "We're heading back of course."

"Back? You aren't gonna chase the leads while it is still fresh?" Zen raised an eyebrow

"We've done everything we could here. In addition this is still the enemy's territory."

"The culprit couldn't have gotten far I'm sure."

"No, in fact they did. While we were sleeping soundly."

"No way. Surely you jest right?"

"I'm afraid not." Tanjiro calmly sips his cup of coffee. "Nevertheless, we still have something to discuss about."

"Do we? We don't have any leads regarding to whom the killer might, let alone what we are investigating as a whole."

"Do you really think that way Zen?" Tanjiro said with a calming voice. "Leads are indeed hard to find, but once you do, all that's left is to follow it."

"Huh? Isn't that the whole point of our investigation?"

"Sometimes, the leads are more obvious than others." He hands over a piece of paper. "I'll entrust this to you."

"Again? Why can't you just tell me?" Zen took it feeling irritated

"All will be revealed. Here Inosuke." He hands over another piece to Inosuke

"Huh?! What is this?" Inosuke questions in the middle of his bite

"Your instructions. Nezuko."

"Yes, onii-chan?" Nezuko responded immediately

"Fancy for a little walk after this?" Tanjiro invited

"Of course! It's been a while since we had a walk together." Nezuko replied with excitement

"Then it is decided. We'll meet up at the station later."
