POV: Amelia
When I went to find Rose in our usual place she wasn't there. I went to all the places we would usually hang out and called her three times but she wouldn't pick up.
Where could she have gone, did I really loose my best friend already? I was walking down the steps when I saw a girl with curly brunette hair. It had to be Rose! I rushed down the steps and ran up to her then landed my hand on her shoulder. She whirled around.
"Rose, thank goodness I found you. I was wor- woah!" I said surprised as Rose leaped into my arms. She started crying and wailing out loud.
"WAHAHA, I'M SORRY!!" She cried and hugged me tight.
"Huh-"
"I AM SORRY FOR YELLING OUT YOU MELIEE" She wailed again. I looked around and realized people started looking at us.
"Rose- stop crying and I forgive you." I said calmly and tried to peal her off me. I was kind off confused because I felt like I should be the one apologizing.
"I'm sorry for accusing Cosmo of doing shady things." she said and looked up at me with teary eyes.
"It's okay Rose, when you see Cosmo again you can apologize but how about we go buy some drinks, I'll pay." I offered. Rose stopped crying and nodded. We then went to go and buy drinks at Starbucks and Rose immediately felt better. I told Rose that we needed to get to class to continue working on our projects because they were due in about two weeks.
"Good Idea, plus we should run into Cosmo while we get there." She said while stirring the drink with her straw. I nodded but then that's when I froze, I remembered about last night and I almost dropped my drink.
"Whoa, careful and uh Melie you look as pale as a ghost-"
"I CAN'T FACE COSMO!"
"Why? What happened?"
"I'M STARTING TO QUESTION ME AND COSMO'S RELATIONSHIP. HURRY WE HAVE TO GET THERE BEFORE COSMO DOES." I said hurriedly and threw our empty cups in the bin."Hey... there was still whipped cream on the cover-" I grabbed her hand and we ran to the building where lectures are held. When we got inside the building I was so glad we got there before Cosmo (I didn't see him around so he's not here right?) But I suddenly heard some familiar voices, I didn't hear Cosmo's but I heard Ophelia's voice and wherever Ophelia is Cosmo is there because Ophelia is basically a leach clinging to him. I turned around and covered Rose's mouth and ran behind the wall. Thankfully they passed us and Cosmo didn't bother look our direction.
"Phew." I sighed.
"I don't get it, why are you so scared of them?" Rose asked.
"I'll tell you later." I said quickly and Rose just shrugged. We made our way to the architecture room and some people were already inside working on there projects. Some people were way ahead of us, it just made me feel bad. With some help from other people, I was able to get the foundation for my house finished and so was Rose.
"Brb guys I gotta go use the bathroom." I said and left the room. I headed to the bathroom on my floor. The entrance to the bathroom was those ones that don't have doors but when your walking in its those walkways that go in then turn then into the bathroom, the boys bathroom was right beside the girls. I used it, washed my hands and went out. But then suddenly someone grabbed my shoulder.
"Boo." And I yelped. I grabbed my own shoulder and turned around. "Cosmo?!" I asked surprised. He looked at my with a grin and then brushed my shoulder.
"Why are you avoiding me? Every time I try to approach you, you just walk away?" He asked, his grin still plastered on his face. "Is it because you sat on my lap last night?" He asked.
