Chapter fifteen

POV: Amelia

I grabbed my phone and dorm keys and ran out of the room with friends. I followed the crowd downstairs and ran with everyone. When I reached the bottom floor I was surprised I didn't see any smoke yet. I was starting to wondering the fire alarm was just pulled by accident or something. Soon I was outside with everyone looking shaken and scared, it was actually pretty amusing to watch. (jk jk hehe)

I was looking around to find Rose because I was worried most about her. I'll admit I just looked out for Cosmo in the crowd. But I couldn't find him because he was right behind me.

"Amelia, are you okay?" He asked he slightly worried and I nodded.
"Have you seen Rose?" I asked.
"Yeah, she was somewhere outside around the back of the building I think. But that was a while ago sometime before the fire alarm was pulled." Cosmo explained.

I thought Rose was going to the bathroom. Where the heck is she going now? I looked back to Cosmo and he was looking into the crowd and seems as he was mouthing something to someone. My eyes followed his direction but I couldn't see who or what he was talking to. Everyone around was worried and panicking.

Sometime during high school an earthquake happened and the whole school was freaking out. People were crying and some had fainted. I was never that scared though, because I knew nothing bad was going to happen, somehow. At the end of the day school ended up finishing half way through the day and we all had to go home.

"Amelia." Startled, Amelia turned around and found Cosmo staring intently at her. "You don't have to worry. Rose will be alright, plus I don't think it was even a real fire. There's no smoke coming from the building so if anything it was a false alarm." Cosmo reassured her and gently touch her hand with his. I hope Ophelia isn't around right now.

"Oh, thanks." She said cheeks slightly red and tried not to look at him.

"Cosmo!" Someone yelled. Cosmo quickly pulled his hand away from beside mine and put them behind his back. "Cosmo thank god I found you. Oh hey Amelia." Chase said.

"Hi." I wave to him. "Have you seen Rose around?"

"Rose? Uhhh, I last saw her with you." He shrugged. Well that was absolutely no help at all. There was some silence (except for the chatter around us.) But Chase kept looking from me to Cosmo and then back to me. 

"Is that Rose over there?" Chase said ans then pointed behind us. There was a girl with curly brunette hair.

"It is!" I said and then shoved my way through the crowd to get to her.

POV: Cosmo

I watched as Amelia vanished into the crowd.

"Dude, you know this is all a fake relationship friendly thing?" Chase reminded me.

"Yes, I do."
"So why do you look at her like you actually enjoy being around her."
"Um, Its an ACT for a reason."
"Well buddy, thats some good acting. Also what how did you handle the photo. You avioded my question when I asked earlier."
"Oh, that. I just shook it off."
"...Seriously? Cosmo you need to stop taking these things lightly."
"Okay, so you are you the one that placed the bet?"
"No, but-"
"Exactly so shut the hell up." I said under my breath and walked away.

"Come on man!" Chase tried to call me back but I didn't turn around.

POV: Amelia

The girl that I went to wasn't Rose and that was embarressing because I literally hugged her behind.

"Um, I think you got the person mistaken." They said and I profusely apologized. When I returned back to the spot the crowd had gotton a bit thinner and so I could look around more. There was then an annoucement on the intercom saying the fire just a false alarm and I could hear people beside me letting out sighs.

Everyone seemed to have relaxed and vanished to do there own things but I was still worried. What happened to Rose, where could she have gone? Is she still Alive?

I contaced the fire team that there was a a student that was missing. A lecturer was assisted with me and we went to the Dean's office to call the name on the intercom. Rose didn't appear after ten minutes and that narrowed it down to two possiblities. She wasn't on the school campus or she somewhere that makes her unable to hear the intercom and was unconcious. I prayed she was just maybe unconcious in the hallway or something, maybe she was tired or something.

They were going to call the police to do an investigation around the school. There was a new curfew at the school at 8:00 pm, so I'm able to go with Cosmo to visit my Ex.

Rose, be safe. I thought before knocking on Cosmo's door.
