Seth and his Pokémon are called upon by a mysterious machine known as Synergy to help a young girl known as Jerrica Brenton to make songs, with Seth on the saxophone in the band Jerrica has with her alter ego: Jem.
Jem walked through town, and heard a voice say, "Jem!"
Jem quickly turned, and saw Rio.
"Jem, I just heard people saying you write the songs, when Kimber really does," said Rio, "Did you lie to get them off your back?"
"I....... no," said Jem. For some reason, she felt like telling the truth right now would break the friendship she had.
"Jem, are you telling me the truth?" asked Rio.
"Yes, I am," said Jem, backing up a bit.
"Mew, Mew Mew Mew!"
"Even Mew's worried about you," said Rio, "Jem, please, tell me, what's going on."

"It's alright!" said Jem, a bit aggressively, "I'm fine! I didn't lie to anyone about writing the songs!"
Just then, Mew looked up, and cried out, "MEW!! MEW MEW MEW MEW MEW MEW MEW!!!"
The ground shook for a bit, as Rio and Jem slowly turned around, and looked up.
"F-F-Fib!?"
Looking down at her, was Fib.

"Hi Jem!" he thundered.
Fib reached down, and Jem pushed Rio out of the way, as she said, "NO!! PUT ME DOWN!!"

"Don't worry Jem," said Fib, "A little Fib couldn't hurt anybody, right? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!"
Fib then walked forward, and smashed a car under his foot.
"HELP!! IT'S GOT ME!! I CAN'T... GET... FREE!!!"
Fib, with Jem in his hand, smashed an Ice Cream Parlor, and laughed, as Mew flew towards Jem, who was struggling to get free.
Fib then spotted a movie theater, and looked at the sign, saying, "'Invasion of the Cow Snatchers'? Oh, I love that movie."
Fib then spun the cow around, and punched the sign, getting it free. A police car rolled down the street, and the police officers inside saw the cow rolling down the street, mooing every time it hit it.
They stopped at the intersection, and turned to look left.

"OH MY GOODNESS!" said the driver, "IT'S A MONSTER!!"
Fib pulled apart a sign, and kicked over a pick up truck.
"IT'S GOT A CIVILIAN IN IT'S CLUTCHES!! WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING!!" cried the other officer, "REQUESTING BACK UP!! WE HAVE A MASSIVE SITUATION ON OUR HANDS AT 438 WEST AVENUE!! AND IT'S BEST IF YOU COME AND SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!! WE'LL CALL YOU RIGHT BACK!"
