Seth and his Pokémon are called upon by a mysterious machine known as Synergy to help a young girl known as Jerrica Brenton to make songs, with Seth on the saxophone in the band Jerrica has with her alter ego: Jem.
Seth arrived back at Starlight Mansion, and fell on his back.
"You okay Seth?" asked Kimber, as the band walked into the room.
"Yeah," said Seth, "It's just really weird. Hey, I called in a few friends to help out."
Seth pulled out a strange crystal, and said, "Okay, get ready to have your mind blown!"
Seth then gently dragged the crystal along the wall, as it made a small crack in the wall. Light seemed in from it, and Seth said, "OKAY!! IT'S OPEN!! YOU CAN COME IN!!"
From the portal, came two people from the hole.
There was a teen boy with medium height as he was estimated to be 5'9" (5ft 9in) with a wiry build.
He had messy blond hair and brown eyes with fair skin complexion with freckles. His face was oval-shaped with a long and pointy nose.
He wore a standard mission outfit of a black three-quarter sleeve mock-turtleneck shirt, grey cargo pants, brown utility belt, black or dark grey gloves, and black or dark grey sneakers.

And, there was a teen girl. She was 5'4" (5ft 4in) with a slim yet athletic build. She had large green eyes and long red/orange hair which comes down to her shoulders, and when seen from behind is in the likeness of a heart.
Her outfit consisted of a black midriff-baring mock turtleneck, dark gloves with a thin cuff, green cargo pants, a utility belt, and black shoes.

On the woman's shoulder, was a yellow mouse with red cheeks, and a lightning bolt shaped tail.
