Seth and his Pokémon are called upon by a mysterious machine known as Synergy to help a young girl known as Jerrica Brenton to make songs, with Seth on the saxophone in the band Jerrica has with her alter ego: Jem.
Seth then took off to help out other people around the neighborhood. He didn't want to ruin the garden he just made, so he ran off to find one in the park.
Across town, some people were hanging out, when they heard a voice.
Rumor Weed: 🎶 Have you hear the one about Jerrica? A dangerous robot, I'm told. She's got lazers for eyes, and a microchip brain! Her skin is terribly cold. 🎶
Man 1: 🎶 We've heard the one about Jerrica. It's strange. 🎶
Man 2: 🎶 Amazing. 🎶
Man 3: 🎶 But True! 🎶
Man 1: 🎶 But now that we've heard about Jerrica, we'd like do hear more about you. 🎶
Rumor Weed: Moi?
The men nodded, as the weed continued.
Rumor Weed: 🎶 I'm a Rumor Weed. I'm a Rumor Weed! A tiny little story, is all I need, to make a BIG MESS! I'm a Rumor Weed! 🎶
Seth then appeared, and said, "Okay, guys, time for Plan A! Charizard!"
Charizard landed, and let out a stream of fire. However, when he stopped, the weed was in the center of a smoking crater. Everyone was surprised and Seth said, "Okay. Gonna try another Pokémon."
Man 1: 🎶 So what is a rumor? 🎶
Rumor Weed: 🎶 It starts as a story. Maybe it's true, maybe not. But once you repeat it, it's hard to defeat it, NOW look at the mess that you've got! 🎶
Three men: 🎶 Hu, huh 🎶
Rumor Weed: 🎶 Yeah, Jerrica's a robot. Everyone knows, the story is all over town. We Rumor Weeds know, how a rumor can grow, just LIKE A BIG WEED IN THE GROUND!! I'm a Rumor Weed! 🎶
Three men: 🎶 Yes it's true! 🎶
Rumor Weed: 🎶 I'm a Rumor Weed! 🎶
Three men: 🎶 Oo, Oo, Oo! 🎶
Rumor Weed: 🎶 A tiny little story is all I need to make a big mess, I'm a Rumor Weed! 🎶
Seth then appeared, and said, "Okay, Lapras, use Ice Beam!"
Lapras then emerged, and landed on the ground.

She then launched a light blue beam, only for the weed to shrug it off without any trouble. Seth then poked it, and said, "Okay, this is a big problem."
Just then, Seth got a notification, and looked at his phone.
"Oh," said Seth, picking up, "Hey man, I was wondering, do you have a way to scan something for me?......... Oh, just put my Rotom Phone next to it? Okay, here it goes."
Seth then lowered the Rotom Phone down by the Weed, and she spoke into the Mircophone, "Hello, Hello? Testing 1 2 3."
"So, is it Working?"
"Yes," said the voice, "Alright, I've got it. Call me when you get back to your home, and I'll call the others."
"Um, I'd love to," said Seth, "But... it's got my Rotom Phone."
"What?" asked the voice, "You're a Pokémon Champion. Surely you can get away from a little weed."
"Yeah!" said Seth, struggling to get away, "You'd think so, but... it's kinda..... STRONG!!"
Rumor Weed: 🎶 I'm a Rumor Weed! 🎶
Three men: 🎶 Yes it's true! 🎶
Rumor Weed: 🎶 I'm a Rumor Weed! 🎶
Three men: 🎶 Oo, Oo, Oo! 🎶

The weed then leg go, with Seth being flung across the park.
