Tess's POV: I walked outside to see my friends waiting for me outside. Brynn was in her new red sports car with Brit. They honked the horn at me and told me to get in.
Brynn: what took you so long Tess, didn't I tell you today was shopping day?
Brit crossed her arms and said, Brit: well yeah, what are you waiting on?
Tess: guys, aren't you forgetting something, I forgot my money at the apartment? I opened the door to Brynn's convertible. And I walked in the car and closed the door.
Brynn: don't worry, Tess, I'm sorry for getting upset, I'll pay for your stuff, your birthday is around the corner anyway, so I want to make it up to you.
Tess: I appreciate that Brynn!
As soon as I said that Brit had to start complaining about something.
Brit: Brynn will you ever stop smoking tobacco? It's really bad for you.
Brynn: I know it's probably not a good thing for my health. But I keep telling myself, after this one, I swear I'll quit.
Brit: fuck you, your doomed, you'll kept saying that and never stop.
Brynn however, didn't respond to Brit's nasty comment. We had already headed to the mall. As we walked in the mall I saw this coat I liked but I knew I couldn't afford it. Brynn however Brynn somehow knew I liked it.
Brynn: hey Brit, me and Tess are gonna go in this store, you can meet us at the food court okay?
Brit: okay whatever smoke head. _______________________ As I walked in the store I saw the brown coat, it was so beautiful but, it was 90 dollars.
Tess: uhm isn't this pricey Brynn? We'll just go somewhere else.
Brynn: if you really love it, you know I'll get it for you, let's see how it will look on you, do you want to look at anything else in here?
Tess: I guess we could, will we have enough money to go to Tiffany's though?
Brynn: hmm, we'll see how much damage we've done and then we'll see, is that a plan?
Tess: sure, deal. I walked around the store and saw something else, it was a grayish blue turtleneck, I picked it up to just try it on, but I didn't want to use my best friend for her money, cause that is wrong. I also picked out this red crop short sleeve top. And these blue stripped shorts. The last items I got at that store was this pretty blue gingham tank top and this blue striped sweater. I thanked Brynn for her buying me things for my birthday, because I wouldn't get much for my birthday, hardly anything, my dad was constantly working at his pizza parlor, making just enough to keep a roof under our heads, so birthday presents couldn't even be thought of at that point. Me and Brynn went to Tiffany's and we both got matching necklaces. And we both went to this last store and I got this blue knit sweater, and a Ralph Lauren sweatshirt! I thanked Brynn for getting me all my birthday presents. Brynn took me to my dad's apartment, I was scared to approach him per usual.
