Chapter 6

SAMAIRA

Next morning

This morning I woke up with a cold sweat lining my scalp and my back. I could feel it trailing down my back, because I was having a dream no not dream it was nearly a nightmare.

Cause I saw that the businessman Aadrik Suryawanshi whom I met yesterday at that under-construction building was so close to my face and was asking me something but I was too busy looking at his beautiful face and enchanting dark black eyes to hear anything, noooo he doesn't have a beautiful face, it all felt like same as yesterday in that dream, but I was just focusing on his black eyes and etheral face.

But I don't know why I would have this dream and on top of that a dream about him whom I met for some mere seconds, I don't wanna lie though he was a little bit handsome, okay maybe more.

He is damn handsome you just don't wanna admit, my subconscious mind mocked me.

What the hell, you are my subconscious mind, not his lawyer that you are talking in his favour? I scolded my mind.

God what the hell is happening with me I feel like I need to admit myself in a mental asylum.

I need to spill all this out in front of Mahi or else by thinking all this again and again I will really need some mental treatment.

I've been thinking all this for the past hour. I woke up at 7:30 am and it's already 8:30 which means mahi will be getting ready for her cafe but what day is today? It's Sunday and she must have taken a holiday today. If there is no order, I'll just give her a call, while calling her I crossed my fingers, no I'm literally behaving like a mad person u never did this shit of finger crossing samaira. mahi is the one who does this, not me.

After a few rings she picked up the call thank god, she looked sleepy.

Mahi<3: Hello

She spoke but her eyes were closed and voice sounded sleepy ohh God, I disturbed her sleep. She gets only a few hours of sleep and i disturbed that as well.

Me: Hey were you sleeping? If you were sleeping then go back to sleep I'll call you later.

I told her hurriedly while moving here and there to pack my luggage as I need to leave today. My work is done here.

Mahi<3: Hey no i was sleeping but now I'm wide awake tell me what happened? And why do you look so panicked? Did something happen? Did those people do something to you?

She bombarded me with questions and got panicked, ohhh god i should have talked with her normally, mujhse zyada to ye panic ho rahi hai.

(She is getting more panicked that me)

Me: kuch nahi hua me thik hu tu pehle shant hoja or acche se ambi lambi sanse le.

(Firstly nothing happened to me take some deep breaths and calmed down)

Mahi<3: okay

She did as I said and took 2-3 deep breaths.

After I made sure that she was not panicking anymore and was okay, after that I started to tell her.

Me: You know that yesterday I was going to get some evidence about those people..

Mahi<3: stop beating around the bush, that's not your thing so come straight to the point and tell me what happened?

She cut me off in between giving me a bored expression and told me to stop beating around the bush cause that's really not my thing. I'm always straight to the point but what happened today oh my god.
