Chapter 3

SAMAIRA

Last night when i came here i was cursing the traffic for making me reach here late but last night it suddenly started raining, so even if I would have reached here early, i couldn't have gotten the case file cause it started raining heavily, either i would have gotten stuck somewhere or in the middle of the road.

So i guess i was safe here in this hotel room by getting late, but now as it's morning no not morning but almost afternoon cause it's 11:45 almost 12:00, that means i slept for almost 11 hours and I'm again late, but I'm glad that the police officer's are coming here to give me the file because of last night's storm the roads are blocked.

And it's a good sign i can almost take some more rest and can search about the people's information I am here for, i can search for their location and in night i can go there to search about some evidence and moreover the 2 men i have set behind these people are very much of help so i guess i don't need to worry much.

Now I'll just take a relaxing shower first, after that will do a tasty breakfast, cause i need the energy to survive because last night I didn't ate anything as it was late and i was too lazy to order anything, what in the world am i, i believe I'm a human too but which human gets lazy to order food for themselves, sorry guys but i do.

Let's stop this nonsense talk samaira rawat you have more important work to do rather than talking to yourself like a bozo.

As I was making my way inside the bathroom my phone started ringing, it displayed mahi's name, ohh i forgot to call her she must be worried about me i instantly felt guilty.

On the call:

"Hello mahi"

I dramatically stretched her name.

Mahi<3: What's with the dramatic effect you did something?

She asked me suspiciously.

Was I that dramatic, no right. By the way I did nothing. I just got wet in rain, and who is gonna tell her that, so no worries

"Umm I did nothing why would you ask something like that"

I told her with a firm voice, to not sound suspicious.

Mahi<3: "okay I do believe you but I definitely know you did something"

She said, still with the detective mode on and I could hear the shuffling sound in the background. Maybe she was searching for something.

"Well I did nothing I just got a bit wet in rain, it was raining last night so yeah"

I said truthfully cause if I catch a cold she will know it so it's better I tell her myself.

Mahi<3: "Really samaira are you a kid that got wet in the rain, what if you get sick there and wouldn't be able to complete your work......"

She scolded me for a while and I just listened to her quietly.

"Okay okay I am sorry but I felt like getting wet in rain so I did, nothing wrong in that is it"

I said carelessly.

Mahi<3: " It's nothing but going there for an important work and getting sick is not your plan I get"

"Yes I understand and won't do something like that again"

I promised her and myself as well.

After talking for a few more minutes I cut the call.

Now I need to take a shower. I have already wasted 20 minutes gossiping with mahi, now I only have 10 minutes to get ready, hurry up you lazy ass, I screamed in my head.
